There's plenty of things to criticize Draymond about. But the idea that Rudy was a better defensive player than Draymond during his DPOY years is laughable. And for all of his myriad faults, Draymond has clearly been the Warriors' second best player this season. His suspension is marring what has been his best season on offense since 2016.

Calling him a thug gives Draymond too much respect. He is not some tough guy. That is what he wants you to think.

He is an instigator, the problem is the rest of the NBA refuses to stand up to him. If Silver won't do the right thing, then it's incumbent on players to take care of him the old-fashioned way. Hard screens. Unders on layups and dunks. Throw a couple of elbows if he wants to operate in the post. The next 7-footer who gets cold-cocked get up and take care of business protect yourself and the rest of the players if Silver won't.

We already heard him say at his post game press conf that he doesn't apologize for things he meant to do(only things he didn't mean to do) so would apologize to Nurkic(even though its obvious to all he meant to start throwing helicopter punches while knowing there was someone almost right behind him). Suspensions should come with a 20% playoff penalty.

5 game suspension = 5 regular season games + 1 playoff game
25 game suspension = 25 regular season games + 5 playoff games

Since nobody cares about the regular season anyway.

Obviously different situations, but this reminded me of the MWP elbow against Harden, where he was suspended 7 games. This looks less brutal, but more deliberate, and both players had def had a reputation. I think it should be a 7-10 game suspension personally. Wouldn't be surprised if the NBA goes with 5, but anything lower would be outrageous.

Donkey, idiot, jackass, instigator, a headache, etc. The English language contains thousands of other nouns that can describe Draymond, and being adamant about using one particular noun is incredibly frustrating. Simply trying to moderate a discussion from turning into a dumpster fire shouldn't result in attacks on my character.

And Draymond Green was not charged with a crime. The NBA will be responsible for handing down a fair punishment, so please do not try to twist the incident into a criminal act that did not happen to support your argument.
