OG is a super roleplayer with all-star upside, though unlikely to reach that consistently for a whole season imo.

Bridges is a little above that as a true number 3 option with number 2 upside on a winning team (though unlikely imo). However, unlike OG, Bridges is more likely to play closer those levels more consistently over the course of a season.

Randle, assuming he's fully recovered, would be the Knicks second star. All-NBA potential, but more likely to play consistently at a strong all-star level.

Brunson is the star who has the potential to put together a HOF-esque career. Heading into age 28, if he strings together his past season for another 5 or 6, you can start having that HOF conversation. Especially if he wins a title within that window and doesn't fall off a cliff statistically.

He's like our 4th option and the best defensive wing in the league...

Hmm but the 6'8"Tatum shot less shots at worse efficiency, while surrounded by 3 ALLstars. Brunson was keyed in on during the entire playoffs and still managed a higher efficiency with more shots and a bad foot. So by your definition Tatum is a below average #1 option

You mean this guy ?

Blud only averaged 25 points last playoffs. Lets not act like this chit is impressive.
25 points on sub 55 TS% at that.

Duncan averaged under 25 points in 03’, Lebron in 13’ & Bird in 86’ averaged 26.

Did he shoot poorly for most of the playoffs ? Yes.
But doing something that’s only been done by 5 of the greatest players we’ve ever seen is impressive regardless.

That’s because he was too busy focusing on leading his team to a championship instead of stat chasing.

Come back to me when Brunson can at least lead his team to a conference finals appearance .. something Tatum has done multiple times.

You’ve been way too arrogant towards other fan bases since Boston finally won a chip. Try being humble.

When you go 16-3 in the playoffs I think your fans get to be arrogant for a little while.

Talk about misleading:

Duncan 03 playoff PER: 28.4, BPM 10.2
Tatum: PER 20.1, BPM: 3.7

The gap between them is top 5-10 all timer vs playing like an ordinary all star which was Tatum's level last season where he couldn't even win FMVP over Brown who isnt that great either.

You do realise by going 16-3 it wouldn’t have mattered what the competition was, we were always going to win.

& who the hell in 20 years is going to care about PER & BPM when looking back on this ? All we are going to remember is Tatum doing something only a couple of legends have ever done.

I could say the same about Knicks fans when they overreacted to game 80 of the regular season against us.

Ah, the classic deflection. Carry on.

& look what happened when we played some strong competition in Dallas ..
As I said it didn’t matter who we faced, we were always going to win it this year.

As I said they faced 3 weak ass teams and one strong team who you matched up well against. They won a ring by competing for one entire series, good for you ,but don't expect fans to bow down to the Celts like they are some juggernaut.....you haven't proven that.

I mean what does that say about “top 5” Brunson if he couldn’t beat one of these “weak ass teams” ?

Speaking of proving things, what have the Knicks done to prove they are a legit contender ?
