I like what i saw from that boy Kobe Bufkin tonight. Kids got a ton of upside and i really like his game. He really does remind me a good bit of Dejountay Murray. Very active on D and when he gets hot he can really score from anywhere.

Jordan Miller has STAR potential. Not just starter potential. The man has exploded in his game the last year. G League MVP race as a rookie last year. Robbed of SL MVP this year. He's stupid good for an end of draft pick. 14 points on 5/5 tonight in 6 minutes. Yet the Clippers will play scrubs like Norman Powell over him I'm sure. TWO WAY PLAYER.

I thought this team was supposed to be a lot better with the addition of DeRozan.

Been saying it all summer. The Clippers even without Kawhi are a smothering defense. They are gelling. About to be 4-1 to finish the preseason with #1 defense probably.

Wembanyama's preseason has been disappointing so far. He looked super passive against Orlando and got bullied, taking just 5 shots, as he struggled with the physicality, as highlighted on the latest Thinking Basketball podcast. In his first game, despite 15 attempts, he only made 3 or 4 shots—very concerning for a big man of his size.

His handle remains shaky, and in combination with his risky passes have led to quite a few turnovers. He also continues settling for outside shots instead of dominating inside.

While his defense might still make him a top-5 player in the NBA soon, his offense feels underwhelming, far below the GOAT-level expectations being discussed..

Basically the same issues he has at the end of last season. Where is the Sophomore jump we expected from 2nd year players?

This is a reasonable post and it tracks with what we saw during the Olympics. I'm not sure why some posters responded so negatively to it. Victor's offense is very much a work in progress relative to his sky-high expectations.

Knecht 4 is one of the most badass nicknames in NBA history lol. Love it. All these puns with his name. On draft night I remember many saying he was arguably the steal of the draft. Lakers continue being amazing at drafting gems.

Clippers are a game winner away from a 5-0 preseason with no Kawhi. They will likely finish with the #1 defense. Lots to like with this team as a scrappy low seed potentially. Crazy defensive upside.
