That's why I give Udoka a lot of credit for getting this Rockets team to 2nd seed. You see all the flaws of this team in the 1st half.

If the games are all called this one-sided Houston has no chance. It’s like 2 different standards. Points in the paint is traditionally the greatest predictor of FTA advantage. Except when it’s called like this. I can ride with letting them be super physical like they are when the Rockets have the ball. I can ride with calling it really tight like they are doing when the Dubs have the ball. But the standards shouldn’t change at the halfcourt.

Uh.. they’re the best defensive team in the NBA. They for sure are elite defensively.

they're definitely not the best

This isn’t a matter of opinion.

Try to back that statement up with some metrics. Either way they’re elite defensively. Saying they’re not elite tells me you don’t know **** about the Warriors?

Sengun actually seems pretty hard for the Warriors to stop, but he just got into some foul trouble. If he can stay on the court and they run their offense through him a lot, I think the Rockets offense can be fine.

Betting odds / Vegas odds are not reaitic or relevant. They only exist to make money. They rely on human emotions just like the casinos.

Betting odds and spreads are usually pretty accurate though almost all of the time

Not sure about that. I've made a lot of $$$ by not going with these artificial odds.

If this is the Jalen Green the Rockets are getting during this series it's gonna be over quick. This guy is in year 4 and is no closer to being elite than when he started as a rookie

Houston's kids need a couple more years before they can be real contenders

He doesn’t have the drive to be a leader. He has a lot of talent but a lot of guys have talent in the NBA. Your drive and your IQ are what separate you from your peers, he just can’t get over that hump.

That breakout player in the playoffs is looking real empty right now.

Betting odds are more relevant than not. Tell me you know nothing about the betting industry. That would be a more accurate statement.

That Sengun/Adams lineup is the only way they’ll score. They can beat up GSW in the offensive glass but the big problem is they can’t play that lineup against Curry so it can only play limited minutes.

The Rockets offense doesn’t translate to the post-season. You can’t win off of o-rebounding and transition. Teams can take that away if they are locked in. The Raptors played the same way under Nurse and it doesn’t work against higher level opponents. Their half court sucks because they play too many non-shooters and smart teams (like GSW) will just pack the paint. Unless the Rockets put on a tour de force on defense they will struggle to win.
