that definitely played a big role but that's the difference between Boston and New York... If Tatum went out after 9 minutes, Boston wouldn't be down 16 at the half.

Neither team is playing well but the Knicks are playing less well. And it's tough to hide Brunson on defense.

Knicks will probably have a better second half but you can already tell all the mismatches that Boston has and that isn''t going away in games 2, 3, 4, etc.

Short of Boston just being off shooting or missing layups, I don't know how the Knicks can compete with the number of mismatches that they can present. That basically puts an ultra amount of pressure on both Brunson and KAT to go for 30-40 each to keep up with Boston's offense.

Porzingis hasn't even really gotten going yet.

I'm good with the parity... mostly... but I think supermax contracts should only count as regular max deals for teams that draft their stars. I don't think it's right that Mobley winning an award should greatly affect how Cleveland constructs their roster moving forward.

I disagree. While I think Boston is one of the best teams in the league, I don't think they cakewalk to the finals if they had to play through the Western Conference gauntlet. More talented teams with stronger identities spread across the West compared to the East.

I liked the Knicks last year more than this season. DDV bombing 10 3s per game and Hartenstein making all the right plays.

The Celtics are so good/deep they don’t need the full KP vs the Magic and maybe even these incosistent Knicks team. They will need him vs the Cavs an Thunder, if at all they get there.

They could get some cap relief and maybe some.upgrades on the wings if they trade Jarrett Allen in the off season. I think they need to change aspects of the CBA (especially those tied to award based incentives) in the Summer.

I'd disagree. East has Celtics, Cavs, Pacers. West got OKC and the butt-sniffers: geriatric Warriors, Lebron and fatboy, one man crew Nuggets, and a young Twolves. Oh yeah 2nd seed Rockets who got bounced by grandpas.

Magic will be thereabouts next season in the East too. The East has younger and more exciting up and coming teams too, I mean if The Wiz get Copper Flagg, they could potentially be a play in team next season.
