Btw, kudos to the Magic blog http://www.orlandopinstripedpost.com/ for breaking the news about the Arenas trade a couple of weeks ago. They got lots of scorn when the trade was denied, but they did better than the MSM.

it's very similar contracl, but it seemed to me Arenas holds more value than Lewis so weird they didn't even get 2nd rounder with Lewis

after thinking bout this a bit

I think the pho deal was not good for ORL, i get the areanas for lewis deal

but they lost size and a very good bench player in pietrus, lets see if they follow it up and make more small trades

I don't think people understand the vast talent difference between VC and J-Rich. J-Rich is the vastly superior player and will fit in perfectly with Orlando. Obviously besides the financial ramifications of taking on a scrub like Turk with his contract, Orlando won the talent part of the trade. They got the only starting quality player in the Phx-Orl trade.

I can see the Jrich reason.. Hedo is more of a gamble.

VC was done. He couldn't do it for us anymore. However, adding Gortat into the deal without getting back a legit big back was a little ???? for me.

Pietrus was not driving to the hole anymore, he was just chucking 3s. We have JJ and Jrich for that now.

People overrate marginal players when they move.

Pietrus is a good defender but that didnt stop LeBron from lighting him up. He sucks all season and then in the playoffs he tends to step it up, but still, he is the most hot and cold player ever that I would never trust in the clutch.

The vast talent difference between VC and JRich goes Vince's way, and i'm shocked anyone would say otherwise. The reason its an upgrade for Orlando is because Vince is frail, has no heart, and is made of pu$$y. JRich, on top of his talent, is one of the most fiery competitor's in the league.

I think they'll go with Jameer / Arenas / JRich / Bass / Dwight, with Hedo a 6th man. That's not bad at all.
