The Nets have no idea when Kyrie is coming back (if ever). The Nets were always in need of a lengthy 3&D player. After the trade, they still need one and now have new holes to fill in a quality rebounding center and backup PG. I expect Marks to continue to make moves.

KD can fit in and do his thing on any team, but Harden and Kyrie together will be awkward. I know they’ve played together on team USA and are good friends, so I expect it to work out, but when things get tough and the fingers start pointing... watch out!

Looking at it from a Laker perspective, I would love for the Nets running long stretches with Durant at Center, because Davis would have a field day.

Huh? I can't think of anyone better to guard KD than AD. Conversely, are you gonna have Durant at the 5 getting bruised by a big team putting pressure on the rim? Who guards Lebron James? Who's making rotations to the other guys on the floor for the Lakers? Harden definitely isn't going to be hauling ass for that.

This reminds me of a supercharged, logical conclusion to the Rockets, except with this added wrinkle of Kyrie fitting in. Yet the Lakers have proven they can absolutely feast on smallball. The Nets should hope they get the Clippers honestly.

For Harden, it’s a trade most teams make. This is a bad trade for Houston. They should have kept Allen and Levert or traded for better pieces.

I'd be pissed. This is an awful deal for you guys. It has as much of a chance of netting you absolutely nothing worth anything as it does netting you something useful.

People keep saying that these picks 5 years from now could be worth something. However, 5 years from now it's quite plausible the Nets re-tool in FA, being a New York franchise that doesn't seem to be perpetually making the worst moves ever.

This deal has a high liklihood of getting the Rockets absolutely nothing of value. Exum and Oladipo are straight salary dumps at the end of the year. The obvious hope is that the Rockets are hoping they can flip Oladipo at the deadline for another 1st rounder, but it's just bad all around. Terrible for Houston.

Formidable team on paper. But the game is played on the hardwood and I don't like the fit of the players nor the personalities. Don't see them getting stronger in the face of adversity– in fact quite the opposite. I'll take Miami over the Paper Tigers in a playoff series.

There isn't a team in the league that puts more pressure on the rim than the Lakers. They're bigger than most teams at almost every position, and Lebron and AD are coming for the rim every time.

AD ends up guarding the top of the key 3 and is catching the cross-court pass to finish it or go to the line on the other end.
