The 4 turnovers were some sloppy mistakes at the start, but overall it was great. Holiday is going to be a useful defender (had a rough night shooting).

Now let's wait for Hali's debut so we can all blow things out of proportion again LOL. Oh and the flamethrower.
Man I've been saying some variation of fox and ox all day! It's a great username!

I've wanted to change my username for a few years. But I've recognized people by their username for years, how could I change now lol

If you are crushed trading haliburton how do you think Monte felt? The guy who spent everyday with him and drafted him. Lol

If you don't think he tried to offer any combo of mitchell, multiple 1sts you are fooling yourself and just looking for a reason to be mad.

You wanted all star sabonis, the answer was fox. So sick of kings fans making this a fox or hali or picks argument.

I don’t understand the last paragraph. But if you can’t get Indy to move then you move on.

Here’s a good rule for GM’ing…don’t trade 21 yr old Hali.
Yes you do. And that takes me back to my first point. You will come around.

No I won’t. I always wanted Sabs. I thought they shouldn’t have traded Hali. I was right on both fronts. Lol.

Lmao how did Jalen and Jacoby manage to get so many things wrong there lol

I could be wrong but I think the Kings are going to end up regret giving up on Haliburton big time. The kid is really talented and they basically would've had him for another 6 years, 2 of which would've been rookie scale money.

All my friends, kings reddit, this board, everyone told me we traded away an elite playmaker. And maybe he will get there one day.

Tonight the team had 32 assists. 7 players with 3+ assists. 3 players with 5+.

The ball movement is going to be better.

Haliburton is going to be a good player. There is no doubt. But the kings got the best player and dumped the worst salary. Meanwhile everyone acted like we traded prime cp3 for Greg Monroe.

I will be rooting for haliburton, fan favorite always. But go kings!

Congrats. I hope this works out for you guys. As a Suns fan, I know it's no fun rooting for a cellar dweller. LAL and Dubs have ran the Pacific division for long enough. Time for a little new blood.

Who will be the primary ball handler between Haliburton and Brogdon?

Hali i assume, Brogdon can still be very effective playing off the ball. That's if he's not traded today (unlikely)

I think both Sabonis is getting way too much hate here. He is a 25-year-old two-time all-star. I'm glad the Pacers made some moves because their team as constructed clearly wasn't going anywhere but Sacramento will love Sabonis and he is awesome.

I think this trade is probably fine for both teams. Haliburton is a perfect Pacers guy and the exact kind of player they develop into an all-star, sort of like Sabonis was, but the Pacers had a log jam at center and the Kings had too many guards. Now they both have more balance. Both teams were also stagnating and needed a shakeup. Sabonis is the better player right now but Haliburton will very likely end up being a similar level player in a couple years, so it seems like the kind of deal where everyone ends up happy.

Happy to see he had a great game. They chose to bench Holmes (only played 11 minutes).

Is metu a good defender ?

Sacramento converted Halliburton into a playmaking big man who can score, and simultaneously freed up playing time for Mitchell.

Just 1 game but this team looks a lot more balanced now

this is why you dont need hali at all when you have a point center like sabonis. if fox has trouble being lead playmaker leave it to domas and mitchell 3 playmakers is more than enough rather than 1 guy hali dominating the ball. its a decent hedge you develop fox to all nba and mitchell to a high level starter worst case domas dishes out 10 assists.

a guard heavy lineup is always bad if you dont have any inside presence. they also got badly needed 3 and D resources in lamb and holiday so this trade is really positive +10 win would have easily made playoffs if done a month ago. kings basically copied chicago's model to contend now im not sure why everyones bashing a proven system. hali is likely to be good but thats a distant future mcnair might no longer be the gm.

No he is not unfortunately. I don't think he will ever be a good defender either. Hopefully he can become average or above average.

Brogdon is better as sg, but played point. That was one of the biggest Indy problems. He can't be traded this year due to extension he got.

It doesn’t matter, I think the two of them are smart and skilled enough to work with each other. Ironically enough both are injury prone so they should both get time as the distributor by themselves.

I think both teams did well on paper with people sleeping on the addition of Donte D in a secondary kings trade. I do think they gave up the best PG of the three (though fox has a higher ceiling). Both teams might get into the playin and I think they will try just to say they won the trade.

I keep saying its a win-win for both teams. And funny enough both teams killed other trades they were involved in as well. Indy getting a 1st for LeVert, Sac getting DDV for free. Both great moves.

Pacers going for a complete rebuild so nice to have a great young prospect in Haliburton.

Kings will always find it hard to sign all stars so why not trade for one that's under contract for a few more seasons?

The NBA media hating on the Kings is as predictable as can be. JJ redick said it was malpractice on the kings behalf. Bill Simmons said Haliburton could be the 2nd best player on a championship team. I really like Haliburton, but come on, the man has legit done nothing so far and is still probably 2-3 years away from doing so.

They are SO dramatic, it's insane. Jalen Rose and this Jacoby character were even more embarrassing, flat out making up "facts" just to crap on the Kings.
