We've seen that Durant, a mediocre PG and a Gen Z SG takes you to the 10th seed in the Western Conference. Let Durant rot in Arizona.

Uh, that’s the 11th seed.

We’ve also seen KD and 2 other Hall of Famers get swept in the first round in 2022. Then get swept in the first round again in 2024.

Why do people think a 37 year old Durant is going to fix anything? Especially with the assets that would need to go outbound to match salary.

He’s not getting rolled our there with Team USA, folks. But keep up the nostalgia and major name brand recognition.

Easiest road to the finals in the 2020s

2023 Nuggets

2021 Suns. Lakers with an injured AD, Nuggets with Facundo Campazzo and Austin Rivers as the starting guards, Clippers with no Kawhi. They had to beat Playoff P with Reggie Jackson as his 2nd option in the WCF.

Easily expected outcome of the series. Finals will be just as easy for OKC.

Well now that we lost, contacts OKC.

Y'all were the better team. There was no doubt in the end.

Good luck in the Finals

A really bad WCF. Blowout after blowout and only 5 games.

These Denver haters are so quick to come out of the woodwork at any point in time to descredit them. The weird thing is, these haters seem to be Lakers stans who are ironically descreditting their own team in the process. I put Boston last year but this is an extremely good example that I forgot about.

And if we look at it objectivity, Denver was the better champion because they are least went to game 7 in their defending year. Boston got waxed by a team that's getting waxed in their defending year. I know Tatum got injured but they were down 3 - 1 at that point.

You're comparing apples to oranges. The Wolves roster has far better complimentary pieces than the Suns roster.

Yeah it was a boring one.

At least Denver-OKC was fun and Knicks-Pacers is fun.

Unfortunate we couldn't see a healthy Warriors with Steph.

Wolves showing us that they didn't belong in the WCF. Lucked into it with a hamstring injury altering a series.

Is it true OKC was shopping Chet at one point?

If so, wonder how he feels.

I've always known Chet would be special.

It is not. The Thunder were thrilled when he fell to them at 2. He’s always been the glue that makes all this work. DPOY type at the rim, floor spreader on offense.

And he’s gotten the haters off his back largely during these playoffs.

if anything rumors are that Chet didn't want to send his medical history to Orlando because he wanted to be a Thunder. There's no way Presti would have considered trading him.

Just want to say GG to Wolves fans and even if I think that we are one tier above their team, the series was closer than it looks. OKC played their best game of the season in game 4 while Minny had a A+ game as well. Would have been another game yesterday if this series was tied 2-2. Minny future could be bright depending on Ant's development.

Also the only thing I didn't like about the Wolves was Chris Finch mentality. He's a great coach but he focused the all series complaining about the refs (even before it started). That's not good sign you are sending to your players.

To-Do List for Minny, Fam:

1) Practice taking good shots
2) Practice having fewer turnovers
3) Practice taking fewer 3-pointers
4) Improve stamina and mental resilience
5) Design better plays on offense

the last time a player had a "perfect" season, god I cannot remember for the life of me

Maybe 2013 LeBron?

When I say perfect season, I mean MVP, Championship and FMVP. That means you were the best player consistently all year long for an entire season.

It sucks they took away Curry's FMVP in 2015 because he could have made a case.

For some reason recent MVPs don't seem able to win the year they get the MVP.

We've been long overdue for this kind of season.

If OKC wins it all, I would be most happy for Presti. Not that he needed it, but to validate how great of a team builder he is, across the board. He deserves a ring on his finger in the worst way.

Also, I'd be happy for OKC fans after the pain they must have felt when they were so close before KD bailed. I do think they were on the verge of winning it all if he remained (especially if they did get Horford as was rumored to happen should KD remain). So to take another run at it with a completely different team....man what a story.

Now the worst part (for fans of other teams), is this likely won't be their only ring in the next number of years (should they finish the job this year).
