Yeah, Lillard has hit a nasty shooting slump, but he's shown a good ability to know that when his shot isn't falling, to be more of a facilitator. Last night was a great example, he was having a really rough shooting night, so in the second half, he limited his shots and focused on distributing the ball which lead to his 10 asts and only 2 to's.

So while he didn't have a good shooting game, that doesn't mean he had a bad overall game.

Also, Im not sure the pg rotation has much to do with his struggles since he's getting good looks. As for Rivers, the only time I saw him play was when NOs played the Wiz..that might have been an unusually good game for him, but I remember walking away generally impressed with his overall game.

Well the good thing is that even when his shot isn't falling he doesn't become afraid to shoot. He hit a big 3 last night even when nothing else was working. He does become less aggressive scoring wise certainly, but when he has an open shot and/or a good look he still pulls the trigger. You are right though, when his shot is off he does great moving the ball and making plays for other guys.

I think he's going to need some rest though, even if it costs us a few games.

At the half Drummond has 7 points, 8 boards, and 4 blocks in 11 minutes.

He'll have trouble getting to either 20 OR 10, but it's the 10 that super hard to envision. The guy couldn't even get 10 in College, and his rebound has been similarly mediocre in the league. He lacks the talent to pull down 10+.

Zeller lead all centers in rebounding % that were in the draft last year. 9.6 rebounds in 28 minutes per game is pretty excellent.

It's still baffling why he's not starting and getting more than 18 minutes.

Drummond is 2nd amongst rookies in rebounds and blocked shots per game (1st Davis)

BUT....he also plays 12 minutes less and yet is still pretty close already....

Anthony Davis

PER36: 17.4ppg, 9.3rpg, 2.3bpg and 1.5spg

Andre Drummond:

PER36: 12.6ppg, 12.5rpg, 2.8bpg and 1.5spg

One player dubbed possibly the best prospect since Lebron and hyped to have the potential to be an incredible defensive player with unreal shotblocking instincts...the other supposedly raw. Something doesn't add up.

Drummond deserves some ROY love, even though he won't get enough min to win it.

He's 2nd in the league, not just rookies, in off reb %, only 0.4 behind Varejao for best in the league.

He's 7th in total rebounding %, and 8th in block %.

Not many other rookies are near the top of the league in any categories, let alone 3.

Frank will be the reason he won't win it.
