Davis is the better player today, but it is impressive that Towns has made this a conversation so quickly.

Towns could pass him this year I think. Plus Davis has a troubling injury history, and Towns doesn't.

Embiid's injury history is even worse, but if he gets through a second healthy season(meaning no stress fractures) then I think he will be the choice of all three.

It's not a conversation. Davis is better.

Sophomore Towns still has yet to prove he's as good as sophomore Davis. Look at the stats.

The attention span in here is astounding.

So JoJo is a good passer but he hasn't learned how to read the doubles yet. A lot of them were well timed in that Thunder game but he needs to learn how to read the setups before they come. I think you'll see his passing acumen more once he gets that down.

Just from watching him in the limited minutes it comes across like he still hasn't come to terms with the fact that hes actually out there playing and he wants to get it all in before it's taken away.

Very astute observation. I think when his minutes restriction is lifted and he starts feeling like his legs under him we'll see his best. I'm excited about his defense he almost salivated at those 1v1 vs Westbrook, and nobody can finish over him (like the opposite of Drummond who doesn't protect the rim ). He could be much better defensively than anybody not named Gobert or dj.

I would think he could get some straight up play against Dwight but I see teams throwing doubles at him until he proves he can handle them. He needs to be patient and read the defense before he puts the ball on the floor. I honestly feel like straight up he could get the better of Dwight on more trips than not though. This is the matchup where he may have better success with fakes and counters.

This whole Towns v The World debate would be sooooo dope on the PC board.

Looking forward to Embiid tomorrow.

:banghead: :noway:

DRUMMOND > KAT

Like Shaq said. We're talking about BIG MEN. Post ups, muscle, drop step, dunk, 12+rpg

Hypothetically, for the team id like to build I'd have a big like Drummond in the paint because nobody is really strong enough to guard him one on one...closest thing to shaq In 2016

Drummond averaged like 14 boards last year and led the league but I guess we're gonna gloss over that

KAT hype train is just full of followers .

Towns had a higher PER I believe. Most of their basic stats look pretty similar as has been pointed out.

BTW is embiid going to have an offensive rating over 100 this year or is it going to be pretty bad?
