True, I'm happy for you guys, that was a coup. To be fair, it wasn't reasonable to believe this team would implode this hard and this quickly, but perhaps your front office had a special foresight! I still think it was a massive blunder not to take Allen though, he's really good.

Honestly, basically every attempt at a super team has imploded, and imploded much faster than people expect.. even the ones that win multiple titles.

It's just a ticking time bomb.

The Heatles and KD-GSW ones worked out ok.

Becuase that player don¿t want to play for the team anymore so this is a sunk cost.

All fairness to KD he thought he was still logged in with one of his burner accounts.

They are like 40 games from a legit shot at title.

Nash knows how hard this is to get to, you don't blow it up now.
When those 3 guys are on the floor and healthy, NO ONE is beating them except KD's clown shoes.
Giannnas got lucky last year.

Those guys teamed up and planned this for a coupe of years.
They are friends, laughing at us all thinking there is strife.

Kyrie is using this vax thing to save himself for the playoffs.
Last year when he tried to take 'personal time off' he got ripped hard.
This vax thing just gave him another excuse to not playthe whole regular season.
He knows he's fragile, one hard fall or too much playing time and he tweaks his knee and another season is over.

Keeping Philly hanging is stopping Dealer Darryl from making other deals to improve that roster.
It's all gamesmanship by Marks and the Nets FO.

So, even though 1) Woj is reporting that Harden wants to be trade to the Sixers, and 2) KD tweets out that he likes the Woj report that Harden wants out, you think this is all posturing and Harden can actually come back and play for the Nets NOW?

Color me skeptical on that one, bro.

Hello Brooklyn wrote:Harden is such a clown. What is he even upset about?

Him and Kevin Durant are enough to win a Championship. Even with his subpar play the two of them were #2 in the East.

Then KD got injured for a month. Since then almost all games have been on the road. Meaning he has had Kyrie.

In 10 days the All Star game will happen. And KD will be back after.

As long as he gets to play with KD he should be satisfied. Even if Kyrie only plays on the road. And there is a decent chance the mandate will be repealed in NYC by April.

If he decides in FA he wants to play in Philly thats fine.

But what is with the antics? Faking injury, quitting on the team, ruining what little chemistry we have left?

Why not be professional and wait out the season. This man is looking for happiness but can't find it anywhere.

Not with Dwight, not with CP3, not with Westbrook, now not with Durant.

He won't find it in Philly either. Wait till Embiid is out for 30 games and he has to carry the load again. How will he react?
Harden's realized he's not capable of carrying a team. Also, he's not getting the looks he had in the past, so the spacing on the floor hasn't been ideal to his style. At what point is the media going to focus on Steve Nash? The focus has been on Kyrie or James.

James certainly has hurt his own legacy since forcing himself out of Houston, but winning a championship will justify it, but I don't believe Brooklyn, or Philadelphia gets him one.

Philadelphia must be losing hope for a Summons trade and believe Harden is the best they'll receive at this point.

I’m curious why anyone thinks Harden won’t pull the same ish in Philly. Would anyone be shocked if by next season Harden isn’t half assing it at the deadline and there is reports he and Embiid don’t like each other and Harden wants out again?

I still don't believe this is happening cause I still don't see a reason for Brooklyn to do this now. They wouldn't be punting the season by trading Harden but I seemly don't think there's enough time to get the chemistry right with Simmons and other players to contend for a title this year. The most important question that honestly needs to be asked is, is Harden breaking down health-wise? If I'm Philly or Brooklyn I wouldn't give him any long term deal at all because his ironman days may be over. I think some weight loss would help at this stage in Harden's career but I can't see him doing that.

There is NO WAY that James Harden is wearing a Nets uniform again. Leverage swinging HEAVILY to Morey.

No Maxey, No Thybulle. Curry and Drummond IF Sixers get Mills and Aldridge...and I am not even sure if I am down with that. Would prefer to give them Joe/Reed/picks than Drummond.

Your move, Sean.

Sounds like Nets will lose 1 year of a player, while the Sixers will lose 4 years of a player.

How is that Sixers having the leverage?

Ummm...you are kidding - right?

What is your point here - that because the Sixers are trading Simmons and his contract for Harden and whatever financial commitment they will need to make to keep him, that the Nets are better off with Simmons (and whatever non-Maxey/Thybulle assets they get)?

Err...OK.

Mills and Aldridge? LOL, Marks should tell Morey to sign Harden in the summer if he likes/can.
KD liking the post is not giving Sixers any leverage. It's just a green light to go ahead and try to trade him. Without KD's consent, nothing was going to happen. Or maybe a trade is already done...
We don't know anything about Simmons at this point, so I am not sure if bringing him in February is the best idea, or bringing him at all.

Sounds like Harden as well.

Both teams know they're gonna lose a player. Difference is the Sixers are using that cap space for FOUR YEARS, and other teams know it, so the Sixers will either waste the next 4 years of Joel's prime, or they'll bend to the demands of another team.

Can't blame Harden. Indifferent fanbase and city, bad teammates (especially Kyrie), bad coach, and a front office that is responsible for a lot of that.

Yeah 6ers can't even sign him out right. They are just as desperate

Can't wait until this clown retires. Hopefully not too many young players take this guy as a role model.

There will always be something with people like him.

He'll make sure to keep things nice and warm until they hand him 40M a year at which point he'll just do it again once things aren't convenient enough for him.

I hope the trade happens just so we can see Embiid lose his **** on Harden for letting guys walk by him for buckets.

Sucks cause I wanna see PHI succeed but I hate bringing in a **** like this.
