I had never been impressed by Wemby in his first two seasons.

He’s about to make my freaking head explode tonight. Really no words for how much more polished his IQ seems and balanced his body looks.

That clip of him with his foot next to the 3pt line that ended with one step into the lane for a layup broke my brain.

The guy was in the corner, took a single step and his foot was next to the key.

There isn't a reality where a guy can go from pump faking a 3 to hitting a god damn layup in the lane on one single step. We are in a simulation.

The thing about Wemby's game is that it's so fluid and he has so much skill. It's not just a tall person powering through and dunking each move.

Truly a joy to watch.

Wemby will be a GOAT, whatever - but Castle and Harper are so so good since the preseason. And still plenty of assets to build around this core, oh, and there's Fox somewhere lurking. And their role players department is also strong. They may be the biggest threat to Thunder this year already.

You need your FO to call into the league office and prepare them for Draymond. You know he is gonna try to hurt him when they play the Warriors. That dude is gonna get clowned on and get extra spicy with the "natural motions"

Who has Draymond hurt?

Fair, he doesn't injure people, he just kicks them in the nuts, punches them in the nuts, stomps on their chest while they are on the ground, trips them when getting up to follow a fast break after falling over after he falls into their legs, etc.

But yeah, he doesn't actually injure guys.

Harper picked it up after a rough start. Expected for his first game.

Gobert looks like he has lost a step. Not saying he won't be good.

Bilas is making a good point… if this is the real Wemby, who can actually beat this team when Fox comes back? They’re going to be the best defensive team on earth, and they’ll have like 3 explosive scorers, and one of them is probably the best player in history.

So happy to be only 45 mins away from San Antonio, definitely going to a few games this year.

Only way to slow down Wemby is to go at him and get him in foul trouble. He's going to feast all season long.

About as great of a game as you could have asked for, if you're San Antonio. Wemby dominated. Castle is ready to rock on both ends. Harper showed flashes. Kornet still not really integrated. Free throws weren't great, but that will improve, didn't get much offense from either Barnes nor Champagnie (didn't even need it) and neither Vassell nor Keldon Johnson were blackholes.

A+ for Mitch Johnson tonight.

it doesn't make any sense, the floor and the hoop must have moved and no one noticed it.

I don't think they even need Fox.

I'm not sure I like the fit.
