Nothing is final, the date to sign official contracts is on the 8th. Last year, I believe there were a few that backed out of agreements.

As sports fans we live in the now/recent mostly. Nobody who's borderline dynasty like the Warriors is going to be underdogs because of what happened for 20 years prior to the last 3 dude. If that was the case, people wouldn't rag on the Clippers as bad because their history is worse than anybody's. Yet they have become a good squad the last 4 or 5 years and I don't think anyone has pity on them despite not winning a damn thing. My point was just that it's a bad way to look at it based on how sports work.
