Cauley-Stein = solid for a #6 pick.
Hield = could project into an elite shooter but starting to look good for a #7. Another good pick.
Bogdanovic = another really nice looking shooter
Fox = looks the best of the 2017 guard class
Bagley = starting to really look good. Also kind of hard to draft Doncic when he says he has no intention of signing a contract with them.

That is some solid work and 4 out of the 5 are guard/wings which are in high demand.

I don’t really understand why people are giving the Kings are hard about their recent drafts. They have a really good young team. Even the Bagley pick was a good one for them. They passed on Doncic but Bagley is really a better fit for them.

I know - it would be far easier to give teams like the Bulls, Knicks, Cavs, Suns, Hawks a hard time. The Kings are a really young team with only one top 3 draft pick in recent years that is right now a playoff team and may hold a playoff spot. That’s pretty amazing.

Is Kings coach trying to get himself fired before the game even starts? :o

Luka needs to improve his FT%. It's so painful to watch your main player miss so many "free" points after years of watching Dirk.

He's 19yo, give him a full pre-season or two, to work on his shot. It's painful to watch yes, but still... If he would hit all those free 3 pointers plus FT's, he would have close to 40 points lol... His potential is scary good. But a lot of up and downs still in his game so, can't expect a 19yo rookie to carry a whole team into the playoffs :P

If bums like Harris and Wes weren't wasting possession after possession, we'd win comfortably. Anyway, Luka is hitting 78%, which is pretty good, but we need more ))

I love how Doncic' numbers this season in the NBA are exactly those per 36 numbers he was supposed to have in 30+ minutes per game in the Liga and Euroleague last season. An example of: "I play at my rules"

Joerger did this in Memphis when he pouted over picking Jordan Adams over Rodney Hood. He's a pretty good coach but a clown.

It’s interesting that Luka after the game said, he expected the Kings would drafted him. That ends bull story, how he didn’t want to play for the Kings.

It’s interesting, how people are comparing 19 years old rookie to Nba legend in his prime. Dirk was shooting 77% in his rookie season, a little worse than Luka. ;)

Then it probably meant it was unfortunate for them because they were playing against him

I’m not sure if ceiling and 1 game has much in common. I believe Luka was Joerger’s choice before the draft. And Luka saying, he expected they would drafted him, means, there was very close call. Divac should have drafted him and at least get something for trading him like Atlanta. Risk was minimum.

Yeah because Luka said they went to dinner together couple of times in Madrid and he fully expected to be playing for the Kings this season. I really wonder what's going on in their draft room.

But with that being said, i still believe Bagley was a good choice. I mean Fox/Hield/Luka would be insanely scarey lineup in a season or two.. or even this season. But once Bagley develops, he can greatly help them even as a role player.
