Have a feeling that Giannis will win it cause he'll have the combination of team record and great stats that neither Curry or Jokic will have. Maybe Curry's stats jump back up again and Thompson coming back will help but it's going to be a dog fight with Utah and Phx all year for the top seed. Bucks are clicking and late in the season I expect the Nets to rev down their big 3 to go into the playoffs healthy. Heat won't get healthy till later and as of now I still think the Bucks will finish better than the Bulls so the top seed is there for the taking.

Why isn’t Westbrook one of the options?

Giannis will win it if his team gets the best record of the NBA. I know his team has not been healthy but neither has the rest of the competitors. being No.3 in the East does not give him any chance of winning it.

Because it's Most Valuable Player to the team you're on, not the team you're facing

True. Bucks are healthy now and had their covid issues already without missing games. It lead to a few losses but it might be a blessing. No games to catch up late in the season.
The Bucks play well lately (easy schedule though) and could be the 1 seed (or close) in the East soon. They need to be close to GSW as well (with much better stats for Giannis compared to Steph) to have a chance.

Demar Derozan is the MVP. As a Raps fan, it would be amazing to see him win it

LeBron James deserves to be an option

I mean I suppose just based off of the numbers but do we really expect Lebron to keep this up the entire season? Especially with AD coming back?

It's hard to predict the future but for now he should be an option

He's basically in the same position as Steph last year. He's in the convo but he won't win it.

Embiid is most definitely playing like an MVP now. Thanks for putting him on the poll. If he continues like this the whole season he could win it. Curry has faded and Jokic and Durant is his other competition. Don't think voters will go with KD with Irving back now.

How is Lebron not an option ...right now if it wasn't for the record he would be the front runner hands down. But if I have to crown MVP right now I give to DeMar..

For me, that's on 'Bron. I'm not big on giving accolades to guys who push their franchise to make trades that make the team worse.

It's remarkable he is still probably the guy you pick 1st for a playoff run this season...at age 37.

Empty stats players dont win MVPs. Lakers need to beat a good team. Its been over 25 games since they beat a team with a winning record.

LeBron is good, but hes a star putting up empty stats on a bad team.
