Our crowd has a rep for being awesome in support, but in all honesty, they are a bunch of dicks in a bag. VERY disappointed in our fans.

Having said that, I'm really disappointed in Russ that he couldn't shake hands with Mitchell and Gobert and Ingles. Dude ran for the exit without being a man.

Disgraceful.

The chanting was inappropriate, but they were amped up and into the series. I won't draw too much from that.
Regarding the lack of handshaking from Russell: He pretty much always does that when eliminated in the postseason. He did it against Golden state in 2016. He even did it against Houston last year and he is good friends with Harden. Its just what he does for better or for worse. :dontknow:

What’s people obsession with shaking hands leave that **** for the middle school kids. He don’t wanna shake hands than don’t do it who cares

Epic night?
That is a way to look at, i guess.

What would you call 46 points? Quiet?

Without the blackhole Westbrook, OKC will not even be in the game.

NBA determined that PG13 invaded Gobert's space in order to create contact, not the other way around. Sounds about right.

Perfect PR response now that they had time to review all angles.

Thats completely speculative on their part in real time to say he wouldn't have made contact. He likely would have at least grazed PG's right shooting arm even if pg stayed where he was. Gobert kicked the hip/left leg out.

This is similar to what I said earlier. PG13 aka The Choker asking the refs to bail him out of his choking ways. Please Magic and Pelinka, hope you folks watched that epic fail from PG13.

He choked by getting a clumsy big to jump at a pump fake from 5 foot behind the line down 3 in the clutch to draw contact?

I can see how you could go that way.

Probably not the right call, especially real time. It wasn't as night and day as it looked from the side. Sorry OKC fans, stinks to lose on a missed call.
In '03-'04, Jerry Sloan coached the ESPN predicted "worst team of all time" to 42-40.

Your memory was correct until you omitted the part where PG13 jumped sideways to 'initiate' the contact.

I don't hate his performance. I hate his antics. His game 4 garbage soured me on him for a lifetime.

The Gobert thing? C’mon dude - it’s playoff ball and heated confrontations are all a part of it.

I hate how a fan base feels compelled to hate on great players from other teams. I mean some ribbing is fine but it seems to have gone to another level with Westbrook. And it’s not just the fans, media commentators like Cowherd are even worse. I feel like it’s becone a dark component of our game. Or maybe it was always there? Not sure, but I don’t like it.

I’d rather talk about the awesome game our rookie and budding superstar had and how the reigning MVP tried to dig super deep to do all he could to stop it but just fell short. What a great story that is but we’ve got idiot fans in the NBA (not Jazz but every team) that looks to hate on superstar players especially when they have that fearless, independent spirit like WB.

Preach. There's nothing worse than seeing a very good and hard-working team like Utah not get enough coverage because fans (and sports media) want to focus on attacking Westbrook or any other superstar that could be in that position. Just give credit to the team that won and talk about them for once. They've earned that.

The sad thing is, PG had Gobert flying by him half a foot away with the pump fake and got himself a wide open shot. Instead of taking the wide open shot, PG leaned unnaturally way out of his natural shooting motion to try to get a bailout, all but guaranteeing a miss, and even then couldn't draw solid contact.

The refs basically went "LOL no."

Officials can skate on a technicality, but it doesn't address their inconsistency.

It'd be like calling a lane violation on game-winning free throws despite far more egregious violations being overlooked all game. It's a consistency issue.

I thought it was funny that Westbrook shot all those airballs in the 4th and then followed it up by grabbing air when he tried to swipe the Jazz fan's phone...consistency.

Ive looked at the review from every angle and multiple people affiliated with the NBA have said it was incorrectly called in real time.

Nice of you to really chime in though.

Who are these 'multiple people' ? Did they have same angles as the refs watching PG13 doing his bailout lean ? You mentioned his left leg......watch it real time, slowmo time....his left leg was a few feet away from PG13.

I'm just here to mention that Rudy Gobert was the best player in the series. The man is incredible.
