Isn't Juan Carlos the Michael Jordan of FIBA ball? I expect Rondo to guard him the whole game, or else Juan Carlos might single-handedly lead Spain to victory. I also expect another diatribe from Fran Fraschilla regarding the USA's penchant for dunking. Hopefully Rudy Gay attempts a windmill dunk from the free throw line that rockets off the side of the rim and smashes Franchilla in the face.

Rubio is 4 or 5 years younger but I think Rondo is a very good comparison. Rondo is more athletic and probably defends a little better but Rubio should shoot the ball a lot better in a few years than Rondo does now, he really has improved his jumpshot from age 18 to age 19 and Rondo will never learn to shoot.

No idea. But you can watch it online with very good quality in FIBA tv.
This one and the Greece - USA are free, you just need to register.
If you want to try to measure the elements of basketball that are supposedly unmeasurable, spend a game just watching Marc Gasol.

I didn't see it mentioned, but maybe I just missed it. The game will be on espn3 at 3pm EST.

Where did I say owning comes in the form of scoring? I'm talking about how he's going to be dominant on the floor. I don't think anybody would think a 6ppg scorer in Euroleague is going to outscore the USA stars...

I like Rubio, you like Rubio...let's leave it at that.

I know its just a friendly game, but I'm pretty excited for this. I hope Team USA can avoid a slow start like in yesterdays game. Also, I hope that Eric Gordon can finally get a little more playing time.

the one thing i hate about rubio, why does he always look away on his passes to make em flashy, even at top of key, a simple pass to his left he still has to be staring right or he won't pass lol...jackass

interesting lineup today. Not sure why Odom is starting ahead of Chandler when they have Gasol in there.
