Unless Durant becomes a better passer and defender than Wade, he cannot be considered better than Wade. Doesn't matter how many points he scores

Exactly. Durant is clearly a sub-par rebounder, poor leader, and a rapidly worsening liability on defense. :roll:

Nevermind that in the real world, Durant is:

1) an elite rebounder for his position;
2) an inspiring leader;
3) an above-average and rapidly improving defender

Those three traits, in addition to the fact that he's the current scoring champ (with insane efficiency), and taking into consideration the fact that he's CLEARLY still growing and improving, make it perfectly and rather obviously reasonable to forecast that he'll be one of the top 5 players in the NBA this season.
