Exactly. For example:

Is the experiment in Miami failing?

?

From "Heat need to blow it up" to "Heat are just a regular season team that will still lose in the playoffs."

Am I missing something?

There were plenty of people with I told you so's when the Heat were struggling earlier in the season. Those are the same exact people saying they're not impressed with the Heat's current run cause they expected it.

This is where I stand. After the team was struggling to play together, I knew they had the make up to be the #1 team out East, but not as fast as it has happened. I assumed Boston would be #1 and then around the AS break or a little after is when Miami would finally be meshing and be able to take the #1 spot.

Wake me when they beat someone good.

First it was, they will never mesh together. This is a mistake.

Then, when the team wasn't playing well and they had a 9-8 record, the naysayers had their ammo and piled on their hatred, and rightfully so.

The team is finally playing well together and is dominating on the defensive side of the ball and at the same time is playing great together and has defeated some of the better teams in the league.

And we have posts as such.....

This.

I expected the Heat to improve from 9-8, but I didn't expect the Heat to get into full gear until after the All-Star break. I definitely did not expect them to go on a 21-1 run. That must have been one hell of a team meeting.

Sr, you obviously don't know how RGM tends to work when they don't want/like something. This is a perfect example. What's your issue?

I think it's pretty obvious that Wade's early season injury problems put a huge damper on their start. The team looked really out of sync and Wade and Bosh really underperformed. They've been playing far better over the past two month and can only imagine it will continue into the future.
I'm sure they're praying Haslem comes back in the regular season though, because Juwan Howard and Joel Anthony getting 15 minutes per game each is a disaster in the playoffs

What I want to know is where are all the Heat fans in southwest Florida? I've met one guy who wasn't a bandwagon type, otherwise I really don't ever hear anything about the Heat. I honestly think for the period of time i've lived down here i've met two Heat fans?

Opening night blowout loss???

Werent they down 3 with a couple of minutes left? And only lost by single digits?

If you're in SW FL I am assuming you're close to the Southwest Ranches neighborhood, no? There are probably all on their farms.

Honestly, Big deal!

The Cavs did this the last 2 years and look where they ended up. The Heat still haven't proved that they can beat Boston. I guess we wait for the next Mia/Bos game.

Well, since they "had already won", that was a natural consequence of things, I guess.

No such thing as a Heat fan - just Dolphins fans looking for air condition.

This Heat team, which is much different that we've seen from the 1st month in a half (where they ran into Boston) while trying to learn to play with one another has yet to play Boston. So we'll see what happens. And, Boston more than likely will not be a @ full strength when they meet next, so what difference will it make (in the grand scheme of things) if they do go out and beat Boston?

The Heat beat LA, and you had outcries of how "they beat an overrated LA team" or "the beat a struggling LA team." -- It doesn't matter what happens in the regular season, because teams have proved that you can lose a series in the regular season to an opponent and still defeat them in the post season where game planning, matchups, coaching adjustments etc all occur. (i.e. Dallas/Miami; Miami lost the series to Dallas in 06, but defeated them in 6 games in the Finals that post-season).

When the refs allow both Wade and Lebron to be the 2nd and 3rd leading the NBA in FREE SHOT attempts lol they are unstoppable.

I feel though that Miami is not going to win it all unless both Boston and Lakers are not healthy.
