He's not super overrated but he's not a max player either, he's in between. I predict he has a 22/5/5 on 44 fg%, 33 3pt%, 55 ts% season.

You think he can do that yet you also think he isn't a max player with the new lower max? That doesn't make any sense.

He's easily worth the max.

Actually, I'd expect an increase in shots from 10-23 feet primarily, if the Rockets ask him to increase his scoring volume. Maybe more 3PA, as well. That might (stress "might") adversely affect his 3P%, FG% and overall efficiency.

I really didn't think much of the other guys in this deal, but judging from some people I've talked to this Cole Aldrich guy may end as a pretty valuable bench player. Good to know!

On what percentages, and how many turnovers per game? These stats seem to be getting overlooked.

Honestly, with the infamiliarity of key players and the offense they'll probably run the Rockets will be a high-turnover team right out of the gates (possibly for the season).

The biggest mistake to make with this current Rockets team is to look at them as a finished product. They are nowhere close to that.

Except it doesn't.

JJ signed a 6 year 119mil contract.

This is 5/80.

Completely different type of contract with harden getting the max off of a rookie deal in the new cba vs JJ getting a max in the old cba after already getting a large contract.

This was expected by most people imo, nothing surprising.

Edit: If you were referring to when JJ left the suns then you are by all means correct.

Can someone find highlights to all of Harden's points and assists? Not like the generic highlights...

I don't think Harden can be the best player on a contending team(though it's not impossible for him to develop into that), but I think he can be the 2nd best player on a contending team. And I agree, that is easily worth the max.

Freaken passing, shooting and slashing in one guard. Reminds me of prime DWade.
