LOL Batum had 1 basket in the 4th. The one time Lin switched to Batum he drew an offensive. WTF are you people pulling this out of your asses?

Does OT = 4th? Try watching the game again.

Definitely messed up when Toney Douglas is the alternative. TD might be the worst player in the NBA. I'll admit that.

This is jut patently untrue. He was a great pick and roll and isolation player in Oklahoma City. He draws a ton of fouls and gets to the rim a ton, including this year (where he leads the league in both makes at the rim and makes at the line). He also creates several key opportunities for teammates down the stretch tonight.

As a Blazer fan I can say Lin did a way better job than Douglas on him, plus Lin was having a nice all around game

Maybe it was something with his knee or some kind of little injury?

As neither a Blazers nor a Rockets fan, I can say Lin did a good job by any measure, except in the eyes of his haters (like Kenny and gethigh) in which Lin could can do no right. Not sure why he didn't play in OT either.

Last season Jeremy Lin was the new sheriff in town. He symbolized youth, talent and a true joy for the game. His arrival shocked us, as did his electric play. We were surprised sure... but we were also overjoyed at this gladiator of hardwood dominating his foes in ruthless fashion

Lin now has taken that step up in his career and has eagerly accepted new challenges. Whether these challenges are met or not can only be decided with time. We can only hope that this burgeoning young talent fulfills his ultimate basketball destiny What a force he was last season, hopefully that force becomes even greater in the future.

I'll tell you why this was a very bad coaching move despite the end result. Lin was going into the game with very low confidence, he ended up having a decent game 4 rebounds short of a triple double. Yes he got burnt by Lillard but Lillard was smoking hot tonight. You don't make a drastic change like this and demoralize a starter who's trying to regain his confidence. Very bad coaching decision I probably would have said this even if the Rockets had won.

Douglas was slightly better defense than Lin, but the Rockets offense looked so much better when Lin was in.

Lin held Lillard to 3-9 shooting 0 assists

Lillard made every shot against DougASS

Lillard mostly made his shots against Chandler Parsons on switches, not Douglas.

Douglas was an embarrassment for different reasons. Like idiotic shots.

No coach could be this clueless, so one has to assume that Lin was tired, which was easily observed when he went to the bench, or his knee was bothering him.

It was the late short jumper when Lillard drove to the basket and pulled up. I'm not saying that he should have been taken out though just because of that.

I won't be surprised if the Rockets trade Jeremy Lin as the move was more of the owners decision that the GM or Coaches.

Hopefully to a team that doesn't use him as the secondary ball-handler and spot-up shooter.

Unless the Rockets are getting a all star level player I doubt it.

I think the owner definitely had something to do with it but the Rockets really needed a PG when they made the offer to Lin. The Rockets was trying to resign Dragic but didn't want to give him a player's option, and already traded Lowry because he didn't get along with the coach. By then the only point guard the Rockets had under contract was Tony Douglas, and the only best point guard available at that point was Lin.
