Sometimes when ur in the heat of the moment u just would rather stay in. That's what plan b is for.

Griffin should have a ton of that next to his bed cuz it is hard to pull out when ur inside a 10. Ur damn sure not thinking about child support when ur inside a 10!

That being said is this chick not attractive to anyone else? She isn't ugly or anything, but damn she looks a little weird to me

Not always about the face. Sometimes the way a woman dresses, talks, or just incredible body can just get the chemicals going and from there it's just natural urges.

Pretty sure most 10's make guys wear protection, for multiple reasons. Also would want to wear one for multiple reasons that don't include preventing pregnancy.

She went to SC there's a good chance she came from money. She might not be the gold digger people make her out to be.

Still, I'd be pretty annoyed if I were him because that amount isn't about just supporting the child, it's about supporting the mother too. That's a huge problem in the whole child support system, too often it's about the mother getting support, and fathers shouldn't be responsible for financially supporting mothers.

While I think it's completely ridiculous that some athletes can't manage to prevent fathering children when they don't want any, I don't think they should make an even bigger mistake by getting married (that'll cost them a lot more than 1/100th over their salary.) For all you know though they may have plans of starting a family at some point, but they're not ready for one yet.

The mother has to take care of the child so why would they not get money as well?

A parent's responsibility is to their child, not to the other parent. The custodial parent should get money to spend on care for the child only, that is the only non-custodial parent's responsibility. Being a custodial parent doesn't make you not financially responsible for yourself, that's an absurd suggestion.

Except for the fact that taking care of a child is a massive time sink/time investment in itself.... Its not an absurd suggestion. It is a reasonable one and how things actually work in the real world. Sorry to burst your bubble.

USC is filled with coeds trying to get their MRS degree.

With a minor in CS as a fallback option.

If Shaq can be a ring-chaser, a rich girl can be a gold digger. Plus, even if she came from money, she probably didn't come from Blake Griffin-type money. Even if her brother becomes a multiple-time Pro Bowler in the NFL, he isn't going to make Blake Griffin-type money.

A professional gold-digger willing to go all the way for her money; by getting pregnant. You'd think these guys would see through it at some point.

Superstars usually end-up marrying non-athletic wives. This chick was an athlete herself. Andrew Wiggins dad was an average NBA player but he married an olympic star athlete and look how his son turned out?

You do realize that Andrew Wiggins has brothers that play ball and are not nearly as athletic as him right?

guess he couldn't care less.
more concerning: probably another child that has to grow up without a father.
seriously, what's up with all these pro athletes? do we ever hear again the word "family" in sports media? or only baby mama? child support?
or am i just super old-fashioned?

He has to pay that until that child is 18 aka even after he's retired and those NBA/endorsement checks stop coming in. Do you know how many NBA players go broke after they're retired?

It's needlessly throwing away money. ps. Good luck Dwight Howard.

Paying for 1 kid isn't going to make Blake go broke, even if Blake paid child support for 30 years.

The bigger danger of going broke comes from paying for their "friends and family" - aka, moochers and long-lost cousins - or getting flat-out scammed by con artists. That and getting married and losing half in the divorce.

It's all connected though. The whole "baby-mama drama" is usually indicative of the rest of the stuff you described. The players who don't get the random baby-mama's knocked up are usually the generally more responsible ones.
