I'm pretty sure that most people in this thread believe that this series is going to be a long one (at least 6 games, imo). It's just so damn tempting to vote "Raps in 4" since it's been a running gag for years in this forum that I'm not surprised at all that this is happening.

JoeSchmo24 is right. Raps in 4 is no longer a joke. It's an actual threat.

I can see probably the first 2 games the Raptors being overwhelmed with this brand new playoff atmosphere. if not the first 2 games, at least the games in Brooklyn. Though this team needs some freaking payback for that 2007 series loss. Raptors in 7. Let's go Raptors, beat those Nets.

I can't recall an instance when a team tanked to intentionally get a lower seed for a specific playoff bracket.

I am of the opinion that people focus too much on the star value on the Nets, which doesn't really mean much. They don't rebound the ball at all, they don't pass the ball all that well. They have too much ISO basketball, and they is great if you have guys like Durrant,Lebron,Wade,Westbrook.... but not with the players that the Nets have. I think that Deron Williams will get outplayed by Lowry. I think they did am amazing job to become respectable, but I just don't have faith in them to beat in my opinion a better overall team that alot of people are marginalizing.

Clippers did it to face the Nuggets to get homecourt ironically enough back in 06 when they were a 6th seed compared to the 3rd seed Nuggets. The Mavs were a 60 win team and were a 4th seed.

I got the Raps in 6, maybe 7. I think it's going to be the most competitive and fun series of the first round, besides maybe the possible LAC/GS series. Looking forward to it.
