I thought he was fantastic against the best defensive center in the NBA.

Len putting it on the floor quite well against Marc Gasol

Was not a fan of him coming out of Maryland but he's really grown on me. If he keeps this up he'll become one of the better two way centers in the league.

That's what I am hoping. Let Gobert be Mutombo or Chandler, give me a tougher and quicker Pau Gasol :D

It's quite staggering how fast Len has improved this year by getting actual playing time. I really hope he can stay injury free because he has great potential to be one of the better centers in the league.

Len brings that on the defensive end alone.

hence why I'm baffled that some fans think actual game time is the same as "practice" time...
Game time experience = Confidence builder.

Higher Confidence = Player play aggressive and assertive
Playing assertive and aggressive = Better production
Better production = Further increase in confidence
Further confidence = Player motivation and moral improves

Alex Len's last 5 game average:

10 pts, 11 rebounds, 3 blocks.

He had a TWO six block games, one against the athletic Minnesota team and another one against Boston. Handful of blocks against Westbrook on Thursday's national TV game as well.

He's scoring even without having one play actually ran for him.

He's altering, blocking or changing so many shots at the rim, I love it. You could make a case that he's the most important player on the Suns.

Sadly, he's already dealt with foot issues which is never good for a big man. Listed at 255lbs, he can afford to lose a few pounds to take some stress of his foot.

My favorite prospect in that draft along with KCP, Mclemore, and Schroder. His Maryland highlights were really nice, showed his post game and decent footwork. Now that he has gotten more PT, I've seen him try to hit that short range one-handed hooks and jumpers, but definitely needs more work on it. Can't wait for him and Nurk to rise up to their potential.

Luckily, he's a Sun. His team has the league's finest medical staff.

Super exciting player to watch but still very raw offensively. Would love to see him develop a few go to moves. He's obviously going to be an insanely good P&R player but he needs one or two post up moves for him to take the next step offensively. That'd allow us to play inside out for a few minutes a game and help open up the floor with some open shots. If he can show some offensive flashes like McGary (who is far more offensively advanced due to his quickness, ball handling and finishing ability for a big), I'd be very happy.

You know what they say about opinions...I don't think you've seen Noel play at all to make this statement, which is odd given the line of 14/13/3/3/2 that he just put up on Gortat in a win over your Whiz. But anyway, thanks for not drafting him.

What's so special about Alex Len? Kendrick Perkins was putting up similar numbers at the same age.

Kendrick Perkins through age 21 season- 3.8 PPG, 4.3 RPG, 0.7 APG, 1.0 BPG, 2.7 Blocks/36, .503 FG%
Current Alex Len career numbers- 4.6 PPG, 4.6 RPG, 0.3 APG, 1.2 BPG, 2.8 Blocks/36, .518 FG%

Well for one, unlike Perkins, he's athletic for a 7'2" youngster. I wouldn't say he's special but compared to the Suns history of pathetic centers there is hope for his potential.

It really was to begin the season, however he's been noticeably improving, especially recently.

2014 (27 games): 44.5 TS%, 82 ORtg to 102 DRtg
2015 (27 games): 50.7 TS%, 100 ORtg to 99 DRtg
Last 12 games specifically: 57.7 TS% 107 ORtg to 95 DRtg

Probably because Len is among the best in the NBA at protecting the rim since he's been starter.

And you looking at Len's career numbers is stupid considering Hornacek only grew a brain and started him like 2 months ago. He barely got minutes before he was a starter.
