Outside of Dan occasionally repeating himself too much and Bomani Jones stroking himself it's far and away the best thing on sports radio.

Stugotz and Mike Ryan are my heroes

I also like Greg Cote a lot. I basically just listen on the days that Cote or Bomani are in, or if the Heat have done something where everyone is going to give Lebatard crap. I think it's a really funny show for having to talk about sports every day, day in and day out. I like that they don't take sports so seriously.

I wonder if Lebron has already been drug tested for this season. In the NBA can't they only test you like twice? I wonder if he got his final test, and then went to Miami to "get ready for the playoff push"? At any rate, I don't really care, because if he's doing it now, he was doing it when he was winning my team titles, and he's definitely not the only one. I think player should be allowed to use these things under supervision of a doctor. If it helps them play better, and come back from injury quicker, I'm all for it.

Imagine if they had this in MJ's day? He could have played until he was 50. And who wouldn't want that?

Best part of that show is of course Ron Miguel.

Its nice to see people starting to get into the Lebatard show. I've been listening for years. I think it's not just the funniest sports show on radio, but the smartest. They tackle a lot of ancillary issues relating to sports instead of faux pontificating on Xs and Os, which most hosts don't understand anyway. They don't take themselves seriously either. Y'all missed the best year though, which was last year. SVG as a weekly guest host was amazeballs. You'd have Stan, Cote and Bomani on b2b2b days. It really was appointment listening.

Why does Lebatard wait for this season to raise this concern as opposed to one of the previous four?

Where is the red flag of suspicion for their new magical unicorn big man who was waived on his rookie deal, bounced around in the third world and back again (to schlep it in the D-league), to an out of left field metamorphosis into Mt. Mutombo 2.0?

What is that guy on?

- Where are the accusations on the curious case of D-chipmunk?

- Why no reckless accusations on what really led to Mournings kidney failure?

-------

Could this be a case of sour grapes, attention whoring... or as the kids like to say, "butt hurtedness"?
Don't believe the hype...

Does this look natural to you?

Just looks like he's lost a little bit of body fat and tightened up from the off-season in those photos. You know, like all players do going from off-season break to training camp. Hasn't really lost "MASSIVE" amounts of weight or body mass at all.
It's such a fine line between stupid and clever.

I just heard it, LeBatard was being an ass lmao it was some reckless accusation or statement segment they have. He didn't mentioned Lebrons name but mentioned what he went through, he said something like

A guy who you think maybe taking HGH is looking non explosive, blah blah, goes to Miami where it was known to have a PED scandal, goes for 2 weeks and comes back looking explosive and re energized

You gotta admit it's weird but it's funny people are gobbling up Lebron went to miami to rehab his body. Dude was on vacation trying to recruit Ray allen to the Cavs lol (and the other trades went down while he was in miami). I don't think anyone has ever left the state they were in (when they were told they can't sit for an extended amount of time) to go to another cause it was warmer. During the season too

But it is what it is cause it worked lol. And Lebron does look bigger than what he looked like to start to season. He looks like his old self

Funny people accusing him of being salty and he might be, but is this not a question a lot of people have or think? If he wasn't from Miami people wouldnt question why he subtly mentioned Lebron doing something strange. This was more for entertainment purposes anyway, trying to be cheeky

lebron was maybe the greatest HS player ever, had a nba body in HS, and has been a superstar since his 1st day in the league so why did he need hgh? Unless you think he was juicing in HS it doesnt make sense

Can't say i really care since i suspect most NBA stars to be using or having used some sort of PED.

Sorry. This is one of my pet peeve arguments. Its the Lance Armstrong argument. "Lebron is, by a decent margin, the largest/best athlete in a sport full of world class athletes, and never gets hurt to boot. He just has amazing genetics vastly superior to everyone else, many of which are actively cheating as well." Given his freakish talent, freakish ability to never get hurt despite his minutes, anecdotal evidence (lump in jaw removed a few years ago which is often associated withe excess HGH use, receding hairline, weight loss when HGH testing is in play etc...), it would be irresponsible not to entertain the discussion. You can argue that he did not, or that there isn't any hard evidence, innocent until proved guilty etc... but that argument and/or saying the accusation is baseless is naive hero worship at best.

Regardless of whether its true or not, this kind of stuff doesn't get looked into until after the player has retired or is at the end of the road. At that point the authorities no longer care because the players value to them has diminished and the player has made their money.

im not naive at all. Alot of guys do it but there is usually a pretty good reason behind it. There is no reason for Lebron to do it because of the things i said. Lance was a nobody, got cancer, and then won a million in a row. He is nothing at all like Lebron. You cant even make a Barry Bonds type argument where he was the best but all these average guys passed him which made him feel he had to do it. No one passed Lebron and he's been dominant since he was a kid. He had no reason unless you think he was juicing in HS which isnt unheard of but doubtful in this case

This year's been pretty good. Ever since Lebron left and Mike Ryan has become completely uncaged and unhinged and petty, which has served as a nice foil to Dan as Stu has gradually gotten smarter.
