The Hawks just got tested and they failed big, they went 4-4 in 8 consecutive western conference games, losing the last 3 games. Losses included Denver, GS, OKC (no Durant/Ibaka), and San Antonio. They beat the Kings twice, the Suns (without Dragic), and LA. I'm not sure I see them getting past Cleveland either, much less putting up a fight vs the winner of the west. Atlanta is 13-9 (.591) since their massive win streak, so they definitely look like they have come down to earth.

Disrespect? They're the darlings of the NBA. Media and fans alike are fawning over them.

And Golden State has had little success against the Grizzlies the last few years. Something like 2-15 against them. As good as Green and Bogut are defensively, they usually get their asses handed to them by Zbo and Gasol. And the Grizz have a bunch of perimeter defenders to throw at GSW. They won't have to hide anyone. Just a bad matchup for them.

17 and 1 in the last 18 the only win the warriors got was because Gasol was injured.

Of course if you go into details Memphis is 28-1 vs David Lee and 19 and 1 vs bogut.

Regular season success is great, but they have to show it in the playoffs. Not saying they won't or can't, just saying they haven't.

The disrespect probably comes from the perception that they are an outside jump shooting team and that doesn't win in the playoffs.

That may be false but it's the perception

Talk about the battle versus OKC definitely cooled down. With a healthy Ibaka + healthy Durant , they would have had all kinds of trouble. The Warriors are beloved , everyone is on their hype train , especially on Steph Curry´s. Nothing to see here.

The Warriors have been considered the best team in the league this year by pretty much everybody. Seems like a lot of Warriors fans are insecure.

Most Valuable Player: Stephen Curry
Coach of the Year: Steve Kerr
Defensive Player of the Year: Draymond Green
Most Improved Player: Klay Thompson
Best Organization: Golden State Warriors
Best team to ever play the game of basketball: 2014-2015 Golden State Warriors

There you go.

Many people say they should be afriad of OKC? I'd be surprised if that series went 6 games. G-State is the team to beat in the league.

for every game like that though, they have a 3 pt win over a Kobe-less, bad Laker team, a loss to a free falling Denver. GS is a very good team, but they arent invincible

I don't think that matters the Grizzlies are the only team to have at least one win agains all the other 29 teams with 10 games to go.

It matters like the Grizzlies is the only team in the entire league that dropped both home games against the lottery-bound Jazz.
Everyone underrated Kobe's ego and just thought he would be Paul Pierce when Garnett and Allen joined, instead he went Black Mamba and turned Dwight into Kwame and Nash into Smush.

This topic wasn't made by a Warriors fan btw

We have faith in our team but most warrior fans don't think we are being disrespected

I wouldn't say they're disrespected, but I don't get the people that say they're a 'regular season team'. Usually 'regular season teams' employ some kind of gimmick offense, don't play defense, or don't have a go-to player. None of those are not true at all for the Warriors. They have all the ingredients to go all the way.

Thats what happens to good teams. When they are playing well you get them crammed down your throat by every outlet and message board in the sports world and it gets annoying. When they are playing crappy then everything gets way overblown. The Hawks lost 3 straight and I saw a thread pertaining to the Hawks getting bounced early in the playoffs.

Dont gimme this "warriors are disrespected" stuff. I cant scroll through my Twitter feed the night of a Warriors game without the NBA tweeting something like "OMGZZZ SOOO AMAAZZINZING!" every time Steph Curry his a 3. They tweet like 30 tweets a game about the Warriors and about 5-10 a game for any other team.

Thats what happens to good teams. Everything is an extreme.

Partly true.. but gSW isn't seen so much in the East..and nobody expected they'd do this. I think a lot of fans really are juststarting to figure they are for real. At this point.. I have to think theyy no longer are disrespected. Misunderstood? perhaps. Some think it's all bout Curry being a star. He was a star before. That's not what makes GSW better NOW.
CENSORED... No comment.

Yup, the same thing is happening with the Cavs. In the beginning of the year when things were still working out, they were .500 and all you heard was how much a mistake everything was and should we blow stuff up. Since LeBron returned from injury back in January Im pretty sure we have the NBAs best record in that span and all you hear now is Cavs awesome everything, everywhere. The media and casual fans are like a female during "that time of the month"
