Re: Giannis Intentionaly Levels Mike Dunleavy
It was a physical series all throughout the 6 games, mike got a shot in, MCW got one on him and Giannis leveled him when he got the chance
everyone got their shots in, time to move on
everyone got their shots in, time to move on

Interested to hear what Giannis has to say after the game.

uhmmm, yes. Did we forget Zaza Pachulia and Niko getting into a scuffle resulting in Niko's knee injury?
Bucks played physical defense all throughout, it was a physical series. No big deal.

The worst Dunleavy could have done is bloody someone's lip. The worst Giannis could have done is end Dunleavy's career. So no, Dunleavy did not "deserve" that in any sense of the word.
Rofl, spoken like someone who didn't watch the game. Dunleavy actually did worse than 'just blood a lip' to MCW in that punch, sent him to the locker room 1 min into the game. Then he followed up by taking a shot to Giannis' throat right before the ejection. No foul on either. Neither was a 'sly cheap shot', they were blatant cheap shots and dirty plays. No surprise dunleavy did it a 3rd time in the 2nd half and set a moving screen and took a 2nd shot and MCW head.
I'm all for instigators and gamesmanship, but a guy took 3 shots at players in the neck/head in one game, without the referees taking any action against it. That's unacceptable.
As for Giannis potentially ending dunleavy's career? Idk what to tell you, they went torso to torso, it really wasn't even that hard of a foul. If he hadn't made a beeline cross court to commit the foul he assuredly isn't tossed.

I'll be honest.
I've done something similar to a guy who was elbowing me behind the referees. So I leveled him on a play.... felt great.
I got kicked out of the game... but my league's level is bush league.

Let's not forget that the Bucks have been dishing out cheap blows all throughout the series. Dunleavy got into the young Bucks head and it took them completely out of the game. He'll probably get suspended, but as a fan, I enjoyed it on both ends. This is what playoff basketball is supposed to feel like.

If you lost the series you wouldn't be saying this.

Cmon man you can't be serious. The scuffle happened because Niko retaliated after Zaza made a play on the ball which resulted in Niko injuring his knee. Him injuring his knee was in no way Zazas fault as it was accidental contact.
Dunleavy punched a guy in the face while he was in the air. He will get at least a 1 game suspension (prob even 2)
GA will also be suspended. MCW retaliated aswel after that. Doubt he'll get a suspension though

Re: Giannis Intentionaly Levels Mike Dunleavy
Is it right? No. However, it's the result of refs not catching these little dirty plays by Dunleavy, and it'll frustrate a player, especially a young one like Giannis. He's no dirty player, just got upset over some little stuff. Nothing much here...

Dunleavy took 3 cheap shots this game worse than anything the bucks did the entire series by far. Not sure what else there is to say. 3 neck/head shots in one game, no referee action.

I watched every minute of the game.
Kind of hard to blatantly cheap shot someone in the throat when you're not even looking at them. Guys push and shove on every single rebound. Sometimes a guy gets poked in the eye or whatever. If Charles Barkley can look at a couple slo-mo replays of that play and say it's no big deal, I think I'll trust his judgment because he's actually been in that situation before.
You have no idea what can happen to someone when you tackle them with a running start when they're in an unprotected, vulnerable position. It's very easy to **** up someone's shoulder when you take them down when they have their arm up. Could have been much worse than it was.

please watch the replay again pls; all I have to say. So if barkley says it's all good and 99% of the neutrals say it isn't, you're still going to side by charles right?

Anyone defending dunleavy is a loon. I'm sure they also defended meta world peace elbowing James harden in the head or jr smith taking crowder out too. They weren't looking either. Shots to the neck/head have no place in basketball.

That happened early in the game right before Giannis eyes. The refs missed it, MCW went to the locker room and the bucks lost their rythme and the game.
Right before Giannis lose his mind Dunleavy hit him in the throat also.
Giannis was wrong to smash Dunleavy but that doesn't prove that he is a dirty player. He was pissed at the moment at Dunleavy and the way the game was going and lost his mind but didn't try to hide his hit or hit him in the face, groin.
Dunleavy has proven that he is dirty player though. A great one since he is doing in a sneaky way...
Was that play reviewed?

He was boxing out Giannis and shoved him away with his hand. Not sure what's stupid about pointing out exactly what happened. He got him in the chest (not the throat, btw). That's not a dirty play. That's something that happens a dozen times a night. If it is a dirty play, then the elbow Zaza hit Niko with should have netted him a 10 game vacation since it was a much worse play in every respect. But that play was deemed inadvertent, as it should have been, just like this one.
The other Dunleavy plays I will grant you were cheap shots. But not the push to GIannis' chest. That's just basketball.
Also I don't see 99% of people whining about that Dunleavy play; it's the shot to MCW's chin that's getting the attention.
