Good thing they got rid of the Center spot. Zaza would have started this all star game.

Lowry v curry(they had an awesome battle earlier in the year)
Wade v Kobe(fun old guy battle)
George v westbrook(just because the old guy battle is more fun)
Melo v durant (2 of the best scorers)
Lebron v kawhi (who's better)

This will be interesting minus the part where they all just switch on defence.

Zaza would have started for the West and Pau for the East. its not a perfect science but still better this way.

I think most of us just didn't bother voting for him because we didn't think he deserved it :P

Fans shouldn't decide who starts.

They should name just 10 All Stars, let the coaches balance this awful voting. Getting rid of it would be even better.

This voting BS is just :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

How in the world are Zaza and Kanter above Boogie?

I care only because AS selections are used to give recognition to the players... but the way it is today, it shouldn't.

The voting is a joke and the game is a joke. They should just have coaches & players vote to honor the best players and not even have a game. Just have the saturday night and be done with it.

Sorry that draymond didn't make it as starter but I know he will get in. Not so sure about klay. Who is coaching this year.

Interesting the guys all think IT will make it. I think he's deserving but, I kinda doubt he'll get in.

There's a poll right now... The answer is yes, mostly.

It proves the system is flawed.

If Irving gets in, it's still a shame but he's a legit All Star talent (who is correctly not starting and probably not even on the AS squad this year because of missed games).

The purpose of this game should be of showcasing the best talent in the League, but it's clear it's going in the direction of pure entertainment, letting the fans dictate it now more than ever.

Zaza is not even close to be an All Star nor will ever be.

I know it's supposed to be for the fans or whatever but it would be cool if they weren't involved and a AllStar appearance was a actual legit accolade.
