Don't want to derail the thread but what's your reasoning for thinking he should be higher?

its not a surprise to me that realgm has kobe rated so low. i expect it due to his fans being driven away from here due to allot of them coming across as trolls. in the sports universe theres always been a divide. you're either on lebrons side or against it. same with kobe. and when one faction dominates the moderating it becomes tough for both factions to get along. so one side is usually pushed into a corner until they give up.

as for kobes ranking. i think its more than evident that world wide the average fan has him top 10.

this ongoing poll has lebron being the one outside the top 10. and kobe inside it. its a more fair and balanced vote due to everyone being able to participate without worrying about their voice not being heard.

i was a part of another forum with former espn members called angergeneral and they also had kobe in their top 10 at #9, lebron at #11

and i believe on ISH kobe was top 10 at #8 and lebron was #11 again



but lastly. in all honesty. kobes resume is only topped by a few guys. its hard to argue with

i mean.. if you wanna disagree with all this and say the realgm list with kevin garnett ahead of kobe bryant is a fair, honest and unbiased vote. then go right ahead.

i'm just saying i found it hilariously bad. but we're all entitled to our own opinion

i for one don't care for this subject anymore. its been beaten to death for the last 20 years. i'd rather leave it up to future generations that aren't so butthurt by everything



for me personally though. i rank kobe around 6-7th all time

you could realistically make a good case for kobe vs anyone not named jordan or kareem.


right now i just tend to go with the majority. and nearly every other poll i've seen has kobe between 6-7

and realgm's list doesn't suck because its not reminiscent to mine... realgms list sucks because it doesn't even come close to any other one i've seen in terms of public polls.

its as if this entire site is dominated by the analytical department of espn headquarters
