league pass is great for those here in uk for example where we can't watch most games live so have to watch it next day for example. So yes 23.99 month seem a lot but if you are using it a lot then really it's worth it. Also getting nba tv with it as well is good.

Fact i can watch it va my apple tv is a big plus.

That's a good question. I got an e-mail that says:

To enjoy these special subscriber benefits, there is nothing you need to do – just log in to NBA LEAGUE PASS anytime and enjoy. You will be charged for your 2016-17 subscription on 26th September, 2016.

Oh, how cool, thanks NBA. It would be cool to know how much they intend to charge my credit card, but that information is nowhere  They only show pricing for monthly packages.

I sent them a direct email and received the following response:

Greetings,

The pricing and packages for the 2016/2017 NBA season have not been released yet, please check the website on September 27, for more information.

Information regarding your auto renewal, should you have been a user last season, will be sent by Email shortly regarding pricing and packages for the 2016/2017 NBA season.

Best regards,

NBA League Pass Support

I had them remove my auto renewal to avoid being charged an insane amount for regular LP in Canada(doesn't include playoffs) with blackouts as I plan to look for other options

I also tried to understand how much I will be charged if I leave auto renewal option on, but could not find it. As I told already, monthly prices are 12.99 EUR for standard LP and 17.99 EUR for Premium. Those are prices in Latvia. Last year I paid for full year in November (there was some free access period for promotional purposes) and the price was 119.99 EUR. Unfortunately I do not remember if monthly prices were the same at the time. If after autorenewal I will be charged more than ~140 eur I will then complain.

Well, nice surprise from League Pass. this year's price was 120 euros, compared to 160 last season for the premium package.

If I could get the ILP version of LP here in the USA, then I would have few problems with it. I just hate the local and national blackouts.

You can sign up for a VPN and switch your IP to look like you're out of the country.

That said it's not worth it. I'm a cord-cutter (Comcast will never see one more dime from me) and I had subscribed to the US LP but between not having home (Warrior) games and the lagginess of the client (always locking up when the good plays happen and crowd gets loud), and the worst part, the replays only show made buckets.....it's just not worth it.

Now I have the sports bar down the street to watch games 8-)

Let me get this straight: you figured out how to use a VPN how to change countries, but never realized you can use it to change US cities?

Well, i'm a returning customer, in fact this is my third year, maybe i had a discount also.

I'm from Romania, so the prices should be similar i guess.

So can a US based fan get ILP with the right IP game? Or you got to have billing info from oversees?

Quite simply....LP is terrible.

Blackouts without VPN use in Canada(every Raptors game is "national"), and even then the quality is so-so.

Christ get you ****ing **** together NBA.

American League Pass is $199 with $119 for team pass. I am thinking about it this year even though I had found streams online last season which have been great, but inconsistent and not always there for every game.

I was contemplating making a separate thread for this, but I thought I'd post it here...

While I was searching on my tablet for "League Pass" I found this link, which I couldn't seem to find via searching on my PC. Anyway, it looks like there is going to be a VIP no blackout package this year? Assuming this isn't some Euro promotion link I stumbled upon.

https://account.nba.com/

16-17 VIP No Blackout Full Season
16-17 Full Season NBA LEAGUE PASS AUDIO Coupon
16-17 Grizzlies NBA LEAGUE PASS Coupon
16-17 Full Season NBA TEAM PASS Coupon
16-17 Full Season NBA LEAGUE PASS Coupon
16-17 NBA LEAGUE PASS AUDIO Full
16-17 Full Season NBA LEAGUE PASS Installment
16-17 Full Season NBA LEAGUE PASS Full
16-17 Full Season NBA TEAM PASS Installment
16-17 Full Season NBA TEAM PASS Full

Of course, there is no pricing yet.

This is so random. Why there is only the Grizzlies team esplicit coupon. Anyway, in Italy the annual membership il €189.99, I think I'm going to pull the trigger.

I don't consider it shady. I can't speak to ILP, but have had it here in the states for several years. I figure $199 for 5.5 months of NBA? You can watch about any game you want, and if it's not on LP it's on some other channel. Cost per game is quite reasonable.

I don't consider it shady for the price but for the tech specs. They are completely unknown. you don't know what bitrate you are going to choose from, what fps you are going to have and at what resolution. They only said HD, I'm gonna assume you can't go over 720p that on most tvs or monitor can be pretty crappy I guess.

The I stands for International. You can only order it with a foreign IP and billing address. You will also not be able to use it if you travel to the US on vacation.

I'm already signed up to ILP since I live in Australia, however I'm travelling through Hawaii and LA in November and want to be able to watch games on ILP.

The last time I was in Hawaii/Chicago my friend did something on the laptop to allow us to watch games on ILP. Does anyone know how to do it? I don't want to miss 1 month of games, especially since I'm paying $340 for ILP

Thanks
