Adrian Dantley was one of the Bad Boys. Mark Aguirre never was.

That is weird. I found that Aguirre was more annoying, and thus, felt the Bad Boy persona more than Dantley.

Kevin Easy & Cheap Rings Durant. The GSW can have him. Or any other team that's not OKC Thunder.

Shawn Marion comes to mind for the Raptors. Only was here for half a year before he bolted and that trade gave Miami the chance to get Bosh later.

Aguirre wasn't about hard-nosed physical play. He was there because he was Isiah's bud. That's "bastard son" to me. And, it's not like I *dislike* Aguirre, really. But, back in 1989, it was "the Pistons and Aguirre". After Mahorn was let go in the expansion draft, the Bad Boys were over, really.

I really underestimated how much Lebron's move would separate the Kobe stans from real Laker fans

Yup this is true we even managed to gain a few new "laker fans" with lebrons arrival. I wonder why.

thanks for backing me up

it seems that people do not believe that there is a sizable portion of laker fans who do not want lebron on the team

we will be paying a 34 year old lebron 40 mil a year while he marginalizes ingram, lonzo, kuz and hart

how exciting!

See, that's a somewhat valid opinion. LeBron's age is definitely a negative. The only negative, really, but a negative nonetheless.

But you didn't express any of that in your initial posts. Your opposition to seeing LeBron in a Lakers uniform is based entirely on personal enmity, which I can only presume is rooted in this ridiculous, non-existent rivalry with Kobe that a portion of our fan base insists on prosecuting but absolutely nobody else cares about or even acknowledges. That ship sailed a long time ago.

And then on top of that, you say you're going to bail out while he's here and will support possibly the best NBA team ever assembled to while away the time.

Way to make a statement, sport.

I'm pretty sure that most Yankee fans consider A-Rod a bastard son and he was a contributer on when they won the world series in 09

But yea Laker fans will happily lump in Lebron with all their other big names when talking Laker history

For us Bulls , definitely Boozer. Ben Wallace and RIP Hamilton close 2nds, but Boozer takes the crown because he drove us nuts for 4 seasons, while the latter combined for only 3.5

As a NYY fan, I completely agree with you on ARod.

For the Celtics, the only one I can think of that fits the criteria somewhat would be Ray Allen.

I would assume Lakers fans would say Karl Malone and Gary Payton, due to the beat down those two used to give the lakers in the 90's

However I assume most Millennials dont know who Malone and Payton are.

As a Jazz fan, i have a few

Mark Jackson, - He thought he was better than Stockton and caused Division in the locker room about it.

Derek Fisher - He begged to get out of his contract when we needed him because his kid had cancer and it could only be treated in NY. He was either going to sign with a NY team or retire. He immediatly signed with the Lakers after he was released.

Deron WIlliams - Pushed Coach Sloan out - ended up with an injury riddled career

Gordon Hayward - Left for the big city - immediatly injured (see Deron Williams history)

I mean, it's pretty clear that you're just a spurned-Seattle fan. You'd be a fan of Satan if KD signed with the Lake of Sulfur 666ers.

I'm sure there are plenty of Warriors fans who see KD as a bandwagon player and prefer Draymond/Klay/Curry.

Because of your flair, I'll give you a pass.

I certainly do. Him, Zaza, David West, Nick Young... anyone who came in via free agency after our 1st title I dont consider the 'homemade' team.

Iguodala and Livingston were here from ring 1, so I do consider them one of us through and through.

You’re not a real W’s fan though .

You’re just so butt-hurt from losing the Sonica that you became a W’s fan out of spite cause you hate the city that stole your team (OKC)

jason bourne wrote:Finally, I liked Monta Ellis, but many Warriors fans would probably list him because of missed game-winning shots. Forever tied to the Andrew Bogut trade. The Warriors wanted to keep Ellis and trade the oft-injured Stephen Curry, but the Bucks balked at that deal. Fortunately, keeping Curry led to three chips. Also, Coach Mark Jackson despite turning the team around even though he had no prior coaching experience. Fans probably do not appreciate his ISO ball offense.

Cannot believe this narrative still has legs.

I personally don't hate Ray Allen. I just added him because a lot of Celtics fans still hold a grudge against him.

If there's anyone I really consider a bastard son (personally for me), it's Antoine Walker. I still hate his guts till this day.

You don't see Deron Williams as a Jazz player because he ended up sucking in Brooklyn? That seems backwards, I would think most people would see Deron Williams as a Jazz guy and not a Net guy - if anything Nets fans would hate D-Will more because D-Will gave up and pretty much crashed their franchise.

I can see not liking D-Will because he was an ****, but not seeing him as a Utah player just seems off to me.

He's like a disowned son. He was partly (maybe largely?) responsible for running out a legendary coach for them.

Something like, he's a bastard, and he's our son, thus he's a bastard son.
