Well common sense would be to get a pic of Embiid and Porzingis since Porzingis is 7'3. I'm pretty sure Porz is taller easily. Embiid is 7-1, 7-2.....

Embiid is probably 6 foot 11-7 foot even without shoes.

It’s so hard to judge height in nba cause so many lie. Or they include height with the hair sticking up. I think Jason collins is famous for being only 6 foot 9 and being listed at 7 foot

It doesn’t matter once you are above 6 foot 10 (legit 6 foot 10) if you are a center. As long as it’s ur real height and you have the body and strength to defend. You will be alright.

Saying all that. Embiid is still too clumsy when he gets the ball especially 20 plus feet from the rim. He thinks he’s a guard and will over dribble and lose the ball easily by defenders knocking it out of his dribble (duh the ball takes longer to bounce back up when you are that tall).

He just needs to keep it simple. IF he gets the ball around 12-15 feet out. Either take the shot or pass it off. If he passes it off. Than get better position closer to the rim. I don’t like him doing these hesitantion pump fakes that far out. It stagnants the offense. He can draw fouls doing iso ball that mid range game. But it’s not good for game flow.

Kristaps Porzingis is 7'1.25 without shoes, and he's taller than Embiid. The discussion is really whether he is actually over 7' without his shoes. He's definitely not 7'2 in socks or whatever other cockamamie stuff the media or team "sources" might spew.

I personally think he's right around the 7' mark. Right in Tyson Chandler's range, a hair under Gobert. Probably over 7'1 in regular, non-combine/pr-inflation shoes.

But what does he weigh? He has to be a LOT over 250.

Man, peak Shaq was so ridiculous. The only guy right now that might be able to reach a level even close to Peak Shaq is probably Joel. However, watching him play, he is still a ways off.

I once saw Embiid and Ben Simmons walking with each other at the NFL draft and he made Simmons look very small. He has to be a legit 7' 2"

I personally enjoy drawing definitive conclusions of height from pictures taken from weird angles of the torso up, standing in different postures and different spots on the floor. Hey look! Shaq is 9 feet tall in this one! But in this one Kobe is taller! They're probably both about 8 feet tall. "Hey you know Kobe grew another inch last year right?" Word? A long wingspan always makes you seem taller, Drummond has a '7.625 wingspan. I'm only guessing Embiid's is probably around 7'8" or maybe close to Bamba's 7'10".
