He was awful in Games 1 and 2? WTF?

Game 1: 18/3/10 on .676 TS%, held George Hill scoreless
Game 2: 21/4/8 on .861 TS%

Like you honestly can’t be serious. He played fantastic both of those games. Yeah, he didn’t have a great game in Game 4, but who cares. The series was 1,000,000% over at that point.

Did you watch the game? Look what he did in the fourth. Nothing in both games, he ridiculously was fouling like a maniac had 5 fouls in that second game from what I can remember. This is why I have a trouble with stats, pulling them out without actually watching does nothing they lost by what 20 points in the second game at home as a first seed keep that in mind. The first game he was completly passive in the fourth especially dont get me started with the second. And holding "george hill scoreless" are we really arguing this?

Have trouble with stats because they tell the truth? Part of the reason they lost by so much was because of Derozan. A huge part actually. What you're stating is the definition of a casual fan. Lowry is an elite PG.

The bias is endless. Derozan gets traded hes the blunt of the blame, when hes here "it was caseys fault". And what "elite pg" gets swept by a 4 seed with literally a team helmed by lebron and friends. He was nowhere in those games mainly 4rth quarters, both lowry and derozan. I mean he is a "elite pg" afterall and leader of that team shouldnt he get a blunt of the blame as well?

Well considering game 2 was over 2 minutes into the 4th quarter when the Cavs went up 18, then Lowry getting all that done in the meaningful part of the game is even more impressive. He was actually 7/8 with 3 threes for the most important three quarters of the game! Meanwhile Derozan got 9 of his 24 in garbage time after the game was already over. Super clutch 4th quarter scoring points down by 18 with 5:00 left, brah.

"Getting all that done in the meaningful part of the game" Dude lowry and derozan respectively were a grand smacking -18 and -22 when it came to plus minus. "He was actually 7/8 with 3 threes for the most important three quarters" How far are you going to disregard fourth quarters here? lol I'm crying at this argument the guy did not show up in the fourth at all, zilch, nada, this was the case in game 1 and 2 so what am i seeing here thats a mistake? Wasnt he selected as an all star? Werent the toronto raptors the number 1 seed suddently a different team this year? It starts with lowry and derozan and the to call me a "casual fan" for agreeing with everyone that lowry and derozan never show up in the playoffs. This isnt hate at all I would want the raptors to make the finals out of any team in the east this year but lowry has got to be better his games 1 and 2 performances were horrid, being passive is a sad excuse against a cavs team with that lack of talent.

Derozan had already made it impossible to win by the 4th quarter. And Lowry had a poor plus/minus because he had to spend so much time sharing the floor with him. In Game 3, the Raptors benched Derozan when there were still 14 minutes left and Lowry brought them back to tie the game. Just think if they took him out one minute earlier they probably could have won. But yeah, keep telling me how scoring 21 points on 10 shots with 8 assists and playing great D is “not showing up” just because he couldn’t carry Derozan’s dead weight past LeBron.

Not bias. Derozan was always getting the blunt of the blame and deservedly so. Casey was part of the problem too, yes. Even Russell Westbrook captaining the team as the PG would have lost to Lebron that series. Lowry is indeed an elite PG and if you're going to ignore all the stats that say he is, that's your prerogative. Not to mention, you're ignoring the stats that say Derozan was a total negative on the court, and we'd probably be better off with Delon Wright taking over in that series.
