And if he goes to Knicks or Clippers he can build his own legacy.

Hey you never do know. I love Kyrie but even I admit there is a shot he goes to the Knicks too. He's super close to Durant and he never hid his Knicks love even on his clothes.

I think it's a really good move actually. He wins one for the Knicks they will put a statue out in front of the Garden the next day. He will probably be the man with whoever else they pick up unlike in GS where it's debatable. Would end he can't win one on his own.

It's pretty much playing with house money to me. The East is always easier to get through as well. I thought Bron should have went there. Winning one for the Knicks put you in legendary territory because of their ineptitude combined with it's NY. Going to the Lakers, you are just another great Laker. Whooptie do.

I really think he is too. There's too much smoke from his camp.

The other side is Knicks brass explicitly said they wouldn't trade the young pieces to clear cap room without a FA guarantee and then they traded KP to clear cap.

Not that this means much, but someone told me KD to NY is likely happening. Their source basically said it was definite. I believe this same source was right about a Mets thing a few years back. The source has a relationship with a high-profile friend of KD's. There are a couple of more specifics I have, but I am not to go into it all. It doesn't mean it is true or will remain true, but it would make sense if it did happen.

KD/Leonard
KD/Kyrie

Knicks then trade for AD, especially if they land the #1 pick.

Jordan/Robinson
AD
KD
Dotson/Trier
Kyrie/Frank

Even if Irving signs also the Knicks would not be favored to win. They are that bad right now.

IE celtics traded for ray allen, cavs traded for Kevin Love and the Timberwolves traded for Jimmy Butler all using a top lottery pick as tradebait.

AD is a top 5 player in the league. That's going to be hard to top. ...obviously, a lot of things need to break right for the Knicks...and that usually doesn't happen.

Sure, I am aware most rate him so, I just have personal reservations about him being a winner.

You are right and basketball wise it makes more sense to go to New York than the Lakers but Lebron doesn't have anything to prove anymore (he will end up as the second best player ever anyway) and he made a life style decision. Even with probably 3 rings, KD still needs to show that he can lead a team to a championship. He will attract some great players to play with him and will be the biggest factor for the Knicks success

He doesn't need to win a title with the Knicks to be very appreciated there. If he gets them back to winning basketball and let's say make the finals and couple ECFs, that would be great for him for sure considering how much the Knicks struggled over the years. He will most likely benefit from going there if he gets paired up with another legit star/superstar and some good role players.

Still think there is a decent chance for LAC and GSW. It's not a done deal yet imo.
