Excited to see him play in the NBA this season-- when he will most likely lose that jumpshot again

The who's who of the basketball world. Lol oh FIBA.

But to be fair, Giannis, Gobert and Jokic were there. (From someone who only saw one game), I'm surprised Gobert did not make it. He sent USA packing.

Yes, if the Suns tell Rubio to go stand in the corner while Booker works his one on one magic, Rubio probably won't find his rhythm and be a major contributor imo. I'd like Rubio to succeed; so I hope this doesn't happen.

Glad he succeeded in getting the Fiba World Cup Gold!

To be honest this might put rubio in the hall. He won't get in for his nba play so no clue why you'd use a link that's exclusive to nba play.

In all fairness, the reason why Booker has been handling the ball so much is because the Suns haven't had a capable point guard in ages. I think it's fair to assume that Rubio wasn't brought on board so that he could be used the same way Shaq Harrison, Melton and Okobo were. I also think it's fair to assume that the reason the Suns went after Rubio rather than guys like Cory Joseph and Satoransky is because they'd like Booker to play off the ball more than in previous seasons.

I'm expecting Rubio to be handling the ball a lot next year.

Patty Mills unlucky not to be there but you can't be upset with any of those picks.

He's a missed free throw from winning the same award (and the title too).

I still think it's an awful signing from the suns his shot will eventually go away.

Money wise is just not worth it.

I never once understand getting rid of him so that we could sign Teague. That roster was so poorly put together.

I don't think you get why the suns wanted him. They wanted a point guard..and they got a top 15 point guard.

Rubio still might be the second worst signing. No-one can beat Rozier. With Rubio you need to give him the ball and does he get the ball with Booker? You can sign Lebron with max contract and if you put Lebron to stand in the corner waiting for someone to pass him the ball he would be worst signing of the season. You still need to use your players correctly and if you don't them he will be playing badly.

but why did you quote me?

Ups. Quoted wrong message.

Rubio is a better player than the statistics show. I watched a lot of Jazz games, and often Rubio's impact didn't translate to his stat line. Intangibles attributes like high IQ.

I'd see a doctor about that.

Me: Hey doc Im feeling pretty glum about Aus not even getting a medal at the WC after winning 6 in a row and looking good for the gold.

Doc: that's no good here's some antidepressant medication.

Honestly not even funny that's how the world works these days
