When did Lonzo become a legit NBA player?

I have seen few videos of his and sure he's skilled but his head is not there and his shot selection (because all his coaches were fine with it) easy really bad. Those are big red flags.

However, Lamelo is well below mediocre athletically for an NBA point guard. Doesn't have crisp ballhandling and also plays absolutely zero defense. I've never seen him block a shot. Dude wouldn't make my rec league honestly

Remember when that poster made a thread about how he was dominating drew league and everyone laughed at him?

Moral of the story: Don't disrespect Drew league anymore

I'm comfortable saying Paige Bueckers looks better than LaMelo.

These are pre-season games for the NBL, not much should be taken from these either just like the Drew League.

Lamelo still shoots like a 12 year old girl. He’s a chucker that isn’t a great athlete or shooter. He’s like a taller Austin Rivers.

He won’t go close to #1

yet he doenst play in europe so how could he stay here? Plus people who actually know stuff about scouting and actual scouts have him as a top pick and there even looking at shoe deals already, looks like a bum to me.

So you mean Lonzo would be a Top 3 PG in the NBL?

As an Aussie I find it funny a preseason NBL game got mentioned in America when I usually don't notice the grand final happened.

Injuries aside and the fact that his shot's still very shaky, are you saying that Lonzo hasn't shown enough thus far to predict a solid 10-year career? He won't wash out of the league; his talent level's too high. That makes him a legit player to me. Whether he becomes a star player is a whole different matter - and one in which I didn't argue.
