I floated a rumor about the Knicks and Westbrook several years ago. This Pincus guy needs to give me props.

We better stay away... I’d much rather push everything on the table for James Harden if we’re gonna make a classic Knicks move

This would actually be great for the Knicks as well as Westbrook.
Clearly the Houston experiment hasn't worked, and they should probably build from the ground up 1 more time with Harden as their center piece.
But Westbrook could take the Knicks into the playoff picture, have the whole team to himself, and possibly resurrect the franchise with stat padding triple doubles.
Lastly, Westbrook in Manhattan, and KD in Brooklyn? I would definitely pay to watch that.

Makes no sense to Houston unless the are going to unload harden as well. There is nothing that improves Houston that Knicks has.

Since I got that taste of the LOB, that's the only taste I need. Giannis is our key to eating at that table every year, so hell yea I want Giannis to sign with us.

Wade is basically Ben Gordon without the 3-point shooting. Sure, he's been a pretty good defender this year, so that would upgrade, but I'd rather have Gordon because he's cheaper and can hit those threes

Now that the Rockets have a new GM, there could be also the possibilty to start a rebuild.
- Trade Westbrook
- Trade Harden
- Build a new team.

In an ideal world Westbrook would have been drafted by the Knicks. I would like to see him lead that team.

It would be a risky move trading a star of Harden's caliber, but you could potentially get a lot back, but I can't imagine a package worth the gamble of such a star. You either get a star back or get enough depth to still make the playoffs, and I dont know if any star worth it is available.

NY could do worse.

Perry should offer Randle, Gibson, Payton

For WB + 1-2 FRPs.

Not Yo Ham Lakers!

It's redundant to sign a loser player to be the face of a loser team.

Time to try Westbrook-Paul? in NY?

Remember when the Knicks thought it was a great idea to feature Steve Francis and Stephon Marbury in the backcourt?

Westbrook + CP3 makes me think of that. But this would be better to be fair.

then he got covid (that's another 3wks minimum)and then he got the quad injury which he was still recouping from. he was a shell of the westbrook from the end of the regular season, and you could see it. he even admitted he wasn't 100% and he NEVER makes excuses.

you add that to harden being a weenie again and leaving it up to THIS version of westbrook to take over,,,,,

hou knows this, westbrook knows this, harden knows this, everyone knows this. westbrook is not going anywhere

My god, with the amount of bricks Westbrook was making, he could help cities save a lot of money on crumbling infrastructure. And build something like this for Harden:

See this is the kind of in season tournament the NBA needs.
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….
