I agree Kings can and probably should match. Up to a point. And the Hawks definitely have the ability to exceed that point. I also have no problems with the Hawks giving the Kings something small to keep the number lower and ensure they get him.

But this talk of Reddish is silly. Don't forget there is value for the Kings as well if the Hawks agree to make it a S&T. Kings would get a big TPE.

I think people are forgetting the flexibility that TPE would offer the Kings.

Bogdan absolutely has a say in where he signs. The Kings have a lot of leverage, but they can’t send him somewhere without his approval. As a restricted free agent he basically has 3 options. He can try to work out a s&t, sign with another team (which the Kings could match) or just re-sign with the Kings.

He could take a 1 year deal and pray he doesn’t get injured.

So if Atlanta give Bogdan the same type of deal like FVV just got, would Kings try to match it?

Again little value in things like a TPE if players don’t want to come. They also have Bagley coming up as a restricted free agent that they likely don’t want to signal you can just walk for free.

You use a TPE to make trades easier.

Chill dude... having Lebron and AD fall in your lap does not make you a good GM lol.

Put Dame Lillard on Portland wo AD La still smoking the postseason. Lebron is the reason, no doubt AD plays apart. Lebron obviously needs a second star who don't... But Lebron is the reason. If La teams swapped LBJ/KL Clips is winning it all. And evryone knows it. Lebron can run point all game. Good luck Lakers running ya only playmaker Rondo all game. Lebron with small ball and PG Pbev and the rest Lebron always needs a shooter lol. PG never got a good shot in the clippers. Him and Lebron? Haha they run the league over.

And yes i have had a drink but you get the gist of what im saying.

Just to provide some more comparisons...

Impact Stats: Caldwell-Pope / Bogdanovic
RAPM: +0.84 / -0.64
PIPM: -0.70 / -0.35
RPM: -0.40 / +1.10
BPM: -0.30 / +0.40
RAPTOR: -0.05 / +0.29

Percentages: Caldwell-Pope / Bogdanovic
USG%: .147 / .226
TS%: .584 / .565
FG%: .467 / .440
2PT%: .541 / .532
3PT%: .385 / .372
FT%: .775 / .741

Per36 Stats: Caldwell-Pope / Bogdanovic
FGA: 10.4 / 15.6
2PA: 5.5 / 6.6
3PA: 4.9 / 9.0
FTA: 2.1 / 2.4
PTS: 13.2 / 18.8
ORB: 0.8 / 0.5
DRB: 2.1 / 3.7
TRB: 2.9 / 4.2
AST: 2.3 / 4.2
STL: 1.2 / 1.3
BLK: 0.3 / 0.3
TO: 1.3 / 2.1
PF: 2.6 / 2.7
AST-TO: 1.8 / 2.0

Measurements: Caldwell-Pope / Bogdanovic
Height w/ Shoes: 6'5.5" / 6'6"
Wingspan: 6'8" / 6'11"
Standing Reach: 8'4.5" / 8'8"
Weight: 203.6 / 205

To your shooting % point, I will say that Bogdan has shot a higher percentage from 3 on higher attempts when looking at career percentages. Caldwell-Pope shot his highest 3PT% of his career last year playing with LeBron & Davis. I would imagine Bogdan's numbers would go up too.

The Hawks have all the potential to be one of the most fun teams to watch in the league as their young talent progresses. Really hope they get him.

Raps have to remain my #1 but the Nuggets, Hawks and Mavs are gonna be my favorite non hometown teams to watch and route for.

You have to keep in mind this isn’t just about Bogi but the Kings also have Bagley coming up with whom they will likely let test the market. Letting guys walk for a second and TPE walk is a bad message to send.

Hmm. I don't think their situations are comparable. Bagley is much younger than Bogi and more central to the Kings' long-term plans.

Look at what GS was able to do with their TPE. They used it and a late first (comparable to the OKC "first") to grab Kelly Oubre.

its not just that, are you giving up your chance to play in 21 free agency by giving Bogdan a big multi year deal? Is bogdan worth that?

Hello Brooklyn wrote:Does Kuzma have actual value in the league? Why would anyone want him?

The guy is 25 years old on a team friendly contract and has been averaging 19.2 points per 36 minutes over his career. It's hard for him to shine playing behind LeBron and AD, but he could easily be an 18-20 ppg starter on another team, and possibly better. Also improved greatly on defense this last season.

I bet almost every team in the NBA would like to have him.

Just accept that Lebron is a great GM and that Pelinka is nothing but a face to do the paper work.

Serbian journalist just wrote on Twitter that Bogi’s preferred option is to stay with the Kings and take a bigger role if they can trade away Buddy...
