3/10 would make me happy but I'm not sure if you can go lower than the rookie scale on an extension ... Knicks can match in RFA so if Frank blows up or starts this year and plays well they can still keep him. He'll turn 22 this year and can defend at an elite NBA level, guys like Andre Roberson who couldn't hit water with an oar stayed in the league. There's nothing broken about Franks shot, and he shoots 80% from the line.

He will not sign 10/3.

He signs 1 year contract and take his chances next season to get 8-10 million per contract. He will need to improve his 3 shooting then he can be a good 3&D player. He is already a good/great defender.

Frank's got a better jumper but isn't as known as a defender on Andre Roberson's level. The only way he gets a multi-year deal is if someone is willing to give him minutes off the bench. He's a back-up 2/3 who can handle the ball and keep it moving. He's too passive on offense right now.

With Burks hurt, tonight would actually be a great opportunity for him to ball out. Just a matter if Thibs gives him a shot or if he shortens the rotation even more by playing Payton extended minutes and go small in the backcourt against Dallas in an effort to try and out-pace them a little.
