Wall is looking like a scrub after a hot start. Off course he would like Silas, the dumbass rookie coach has pretty much made him the lead guy. Which is laughable in so many ways

TBF to Wall, I think that he's partly looking like a scrub because James isn't buying in. With that being said, sometimes you can play off of adrenaline when you get back and do well but once that wears off then the reality of 2 years off really hits you. Couple that with James not believing in him is making Wall get down.

So far I noticed that Wall has struggled as a Passer when he's normally one of the best in the league. That tells me there are rust and chemistry issues. You can't blame Silas. James missed camp and showed up fat when their whole season hinged on the chemistry of him and Wall. Also I'm pretty sure that Silas has heard on the inside that James is gone no matter what so why waste time catering the system to him when Wall will probably be the lead point shortly

The dude signed a max contract, has been catered to hand and foot in Houston, is playing in a league where stars get paid very well, and has a guaranteed contract. I completely understand athletes play by different rules than you or I, but he is in by no means being held "hostage". Hostage (in regards to sports) is when you're still on your rookie NFL deal making 900k when you're a top player at your position and a team refuses to renegotiate, hostage is when an MLB overseas player from Cuba signs a deal to get out of his situation and a team (again) refuses to renegotiate even though he's at the top of his class, hostage is what Igoudala tried to do to the Memphis Grizzlies.

Even rockets fans said that you have to give the team 20-30 games and that was before no show, far James, and the covid incidents with Wall and Boogie but that's never reality in our culture of instant 1 game reactions. 20-30 games still won't be enough. 100 games won't if your best player doesn't buy in. He's actually also killing team morel because they know that he thinks they suck when before James got back, the whole group loved each other... Lol

As a Laker fan I hope that no one trades for Harden, especially not Philly, Denver, or Boston

Because right now I'd say the Lakers are the clear favorites for this season and the only thing that's going to upset that is a team going all-in with Harden

Denver with Harden is no threat. Their defense is atrocious, and it will be atrocious with or without him. They're not winning anything.

In order for BOS to get Harden, they'll have to give up at least Brown and Smart. A Tatum and Harden duo is no threat to LBJ and AD. Especially once you take into account Boston's lack of depth and their defense being worse because of giving up Brown and Smart. Plus, AD will eat Theis and TT for lunch. We've already seen what Bam did to Theis in the playoffs.

Now, Harden on Philly? That might be a threat. But two things: 1) After their starting lineup their depth is very shaky; 2) the 76ers have to get out of the East first, and MIL and BRK will have something to say.
