He isn't. There is no pressure on him to create and score so he can play within the flow of the game. One of the many benefits of playing in a stacked team

Is this the new NBA where super teams get constructed where key players can miss half the season (Lakers & Nets). You wonder what the rest of the league is thinking playing most of their key players most of the season.

I say this about once a week, but Grayson Allen has quietly turned himself into a good NBA starting 2 guard. He is a good defender, he is a damn good shooter and can attack the basket every once in a while.
