Shabazz Muhammad maybe? turns down 4yr 40 million after posting this beautiful stat: "Among 462 qualified players in 2015–16, Muhammad ranked 461st in ESPN's "Defensive Real Plus-Minus" statistic, ahead of only J.J. Barea".

Don't see it. Hedo was pretty talented player.
Psychotic. It didn’t make sense. I don’t know how you make it make sense

Jonathan bender was insanely talented and could have been a really good player. Injuries destroyed his athletism and he never got a chance to put in the reps to reach his potential.
kanahda ballz wrote:Jonathan Bender, 5th overall pick by the Pacers in 1999. One of the biggest draft busts of all time.

After he retired (from his 1st NBA stint) in an interview he said he wondered how great he could have been if it weren't for injuries.

In actuality he was a low skilled low IQ player who had good size and athleticism. He came into the NBA draft riding on the wave of previous high school players who had made successful jumps into the NBA (KG, Kobe Bryant, and Tracy McGrady).

He came back for a 2nd stint in the NBA with the Knicks but it only proved that he was still a bad player.

Another good one. Don't forget him being upset about a teammate hitting a gamewinner

Jennings would do that. If this thread was about swag:talent ratio , he should be included too.

9 attempts needed for the first one to get it right. Can't believe it took that long.

Well done! We can close the thread now...

Waiters by a landslide. Even with KD/WB and Lebron/AD he would call his own number early in the shotclock to jack up contested shots. Think there's a clip of KD telling him to "pass the f** ball"

Vernon Maxwell and Latrell Sprewell

Nah, both of those dudes could ball. Sprewell was a multiple time All Star and All NBA and Maxwell was a starter and 3rd leading scorer on an NBA championship team.

Attitude issues? Sure (Spree vs Carlesimo ... Max vs Portland fan).
Questionable decision? Absolutely (Spree turning down $21M ... Maxwell pouting/quitting because of Drexler trade).

But both were legitimate starters and championship-level contributors in the NBA.

To me this thread screams Dion Waiters.

Michael Jordan has always dismissed any suggestion that he's GOAT.
He considers it disrespectful to the players who came before him.
And I agree.

Another vote for Jimmer. I hated that dude and he only played a handful meaningless of games for us. But he clearly didn't care about anything but himself.
