Had never heard of Bill Mlkvy but that's fantastic. My favourite in any sport (in this case baseball) was Doug "Eyechart" Gwosdz.

Nnamdi Asomugha was often referred to as "Scrabble".

Both these guys started their NBA careers in 1986. One of them was fat. You can try to guess which one.

HOF Dodger pitchers Don Drysdale and Don Sutton were "Big D" and "Little d". And Sutton signed autographs with a little d, I think even after they both retired.

I've recently seen where Kevin Huerter of the Hawks has been referred to as "Red Velvet". That one is pretty good as well.

One of Australia's greatest rugby players had the nickname 'Nobody'.....because nobody's perfect.

I heard this a couple of days ago, an Aussie rules football player with the nickname NASA, because he's great out in (open) space.

I remember Wang Zhi-Zhi. He had a short run with the Mavs. I didn't know The Great Wall nickname came from their Olympic team. Makes sense though.
