Being afraid of Ben Wallace does make you a coward now?

That dude?

wouldn't that make Big Ben the scariest? Either way Artest started a fight then tapped out before the fight started, Was trying to punk Ben and wasn't even ready for smoke. The makings of someone who only beats on those that won't fight back

Ray Lewis (if football is non-combat)

In the NBA, Vernon Maxwell was pretty scary.

Yes, Ben Wallace, and Al Harrington are the best boxers to play in the NBA.

Perhaps but not necessarily the greatest all around combat athlete which may be James Johnson

Artest was afraid of Ben Wallace, as other have said.

Big Ben later in life still getting a little work in. Looks great for his age.

I think Artest is just a chill dude now. Don’t think he wants to fight anyone with what I’ve kept up on him. Same with Ben Wallace. They got old and just are chill people.

as stated earlier in this thread, James Johnsons "accomplishments' have never proven to be anything more than maybe belts from a McDojo, with no evidence of any real fights ever taking place. he needs to prove something

Tonya Harding is a pretty scary lady. But Robert Rozier is the easy choice here I'd say.

Lol, Pekovic would RIP off his head and sh** in his neck.

He retired from the NBA to be a Serbian mobster.

Realistically speaking, it's almost certainly someone from the NFL. Reggie White comes immediately to mind. 6'5", 300 pounds and absurdly powerful. He threw, legit threw, 300+ pound offensive linemen with one hand. That was his signature move. Not a spin or a rip. His was one arming the biggest players on the field. Even Larry Allen.

At least Reggie would pray for your soul after he took it.

Tim Duncan was secretly a bad ass all these years and we just didn't know it.

https://www.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/bjzo34/james_johnsons_combat_sports_record_seems_suspect/

theres a reason you've never seen him actually fight anyone on or off the court

umm...there are actually videos of his cage fights on YouTube u can easily go see him fight

Links please?

I’ve searched and can’t find any evidence that he’s ever had a fight in front of a camera, which is hilarious, because you can find fights from every bum organization in the country easily. You’re telling me nobody ever filmed a 6’8 NBA prospect’s fights in 20 kickboxibg matches and 7 mma fights? Lmaoooo. It seems I’m not the only one, there are youtube videos posted asking “why is there mo video of James Johnson fights?”

James Johnson is the Frank Dux of the NBA. That dude has no competition experience. He’s a karate black belt in his dad’s gym. People give Karate black belts to 7 year olds. James Johnson can’t fight

Homey’s fight career is as real as Manti Teo’s girlfriend.

Edit: watched this video and they echo’d almost my exact words lol

Vinny was a fake tough guy, never picked an actual fight. You're talking about the 80s Premier League you'll go with Greiham Sunes, you're talking about the 90s, its Duncan Ferguson.

Ron was definitely scared of Ben, no doubt, but why do people say stuff like “he was a hell of a boxer”?

Is there even a shred of video proving that? Are we going off people’s word because he liked to train at a boxing gym as a hobby? Just because you tried something doesn’t make you good. Hell, he’s a professional basketball and couldn’t make jumpers to save his life.

Y’all gotta stop buying that people can fight just because they say they can. That’s how fake legends like James Johnson get life lol.

Not a big soccer (football) fan, but I always enjoyed the passionate play of Roy Keane.

But yeah, the answer to the question is serial killer Aaron Hernandez.

It’s like some of ya’ll didn’t see the Malice. Ron puts a foul that can faintly be described as hard, nothing extraordinary, on Wallace and he flips and pushes Ron. That’s it. The rest is dudes jawing and bumping and a towel got thrown. It’s a whatever, Ron goes and lays on the table to avoid it, his team is winning. He is trying to stay out of ****. Then the cup/bottle comes from the stands. Rest we all know.

The idea that Wallace punks him isn’t what happened. Ben freaks out over a slightly physical foul and runs up and pushes Ron. That happens numerous time in an NBA season.

And it seems some here have not seen the crazy Ron eyes. Once you see it, you don’t forget.

Bruh, Ben shoved him across his face like he was a punk, and he smiled and walked away, and someone hit him with an empty cup and he fought a tiny fan in the middle of the crowd and risked his entire career.

Ben overreacted, but Artest wanted no part of it. He’s selective crazy. He’s crazy when someone smaller and weaker offends him, but when a bigger, stronger, angrier man put paws on his face he was walking away and taking the moral high ground lmao.
