This has always been the most logical Simmons trade destination in my opinion. He wants to be in California and I think he ends up in Golden State. They have the pieces to get it done and need the talent upgrade to compete now. By the deadline I could see something like Simmons + Curry for Wiggins, Kuminga, Moody + future picks (maybe Poole instead of Moody, maybe both.) We'll see. Always liked the fit next to Steph & Klay. Maybe a third team needs to involved to get it done.

Trust me on this.

He is Vaxxed. (Probably due for a booster soon)

If he wasn't - it would be everywhere ..... like most the stories about Ben this offseason - made up for clicks.

Lalouie wrote:i'm sure there must have been a rumor somewhere of simmons for kyrie straight up. it's a natural in every way including both being numbskulls

and guess what. neither will play for their teams so the nets and philly would both be trading one dead weight for another. and now kyrie has clarified that he is not retiring, leaving this synergistic trade to happen :D :D :D

Except there is speculation that Simmons is not vaccinated either. So he wouldn't be able to play in Brooklyn either.

Also, SImmons is useless on offence off-ball. But Harden is their best playmaker.

Kyrie on Sixers would actually work on the floor But he is such a weirdo and unreliable; plus he would probably no re-sign with them when his deal expires.
Game, blouses.

You all are probably right. I just seen where he had to wait like 5 days to join the team after reporting, didn't know what that was about.

I'd like to give him a chance here but I don't think Detroit can give or afford to give what Philly wants.

If Mitchell comes out and plays in the regular season like he has so far I can see Sac taking him off the table.

Sac narrative is Buddy/Bags/picks. National narrative is no Fox/Hali, so Mitchell is assumed as a foundational piece.

Just glad nothing of the sort has gone down.

The guy can get a quiet 30 effortlessly on his best night and has little idea what he is doing, and currently only has one hand.

With the right coaching and opportunities he could be a better scorer than Devin Booker.

Lonnie Walker got 30 points exactly once in his entire three year career. If he’s been getting quiet 30s effortlessly, then they must’ve been so quiet even the scorers missed them.

Would not be the Cavs offer. It would be Sexton and Love, plus picks, I'm guessing...

Nope , Philly knows Sexton and Love is bad Karma together - and the Cav's know they have to up there offer with so many Players involved.
Or what exactly? They miss out on Simmons? I'm pretty sure they're okay with that.

Or what?

Cavs get to pay Love $60 million & extend Sexton for the privilege of being one of the worst teams in the NBA

Cavs won't suddenly become a "good" team by switching Sexton for Simmons. So what's the point of treading water as a play-in hopeful until they get tired and drown? :dontknow: And I like Simmons more than most and appreciate what he brings to the game...

Cavs would probably have to make another move after acquiring Ben for some kind of knock down shooter on the wing.

Okoro is a bad fit, Allen is a bad fit, Rubio is a bad fit, Love if retained is an okay fit, Cedi isn't a great fit, verdict is out on how Mobley would fit.

Garland and Markkanen are perfect fits next to Ben. Windler could fit too but is always injured.
