Who is the better playoff performer? KD, Steph or Kawhi?

This question really isnt fair.

Kawhi and KD are both over 6'7.

Teams in the playoffs just constantly trap and double team Steph, he makes the right play and passes it. You cant do what those guys do physically when you are only 6'3. Hes handicapped due to his height but still performs at an elite level despite defenses.

Curry would be the best player of all time, and it really wouldnt be close, if he was those guys height.

If all are healthy I'd take Kawhi first, he had a mediocre series against the Nuggets once, but outside of that his track record from 2017-21 is nearly impeccable when healthy. The other two are pretty close, but I feel like they've been less consistent.

Im going with Steph's numbers. Nobody gets defended in the playoffs like Steph.

The way i interpret this question is, Going into a playoffs who would you rather have leading your team to a title all else being equal.

To me that answer is pretty clearly Curry then Durant, then Kawhi in that order. While statistically Curry may not be quite on the level of Kawhi and Durant(depends which stats were talking) the ceiling on a curry led team in the playoffs is clearly higher than both Kawhi and Durant because of his ability to make his teammates better. Kawhi and Durant dont elevate their teams nearly as well, which is why their ceilings are lower as well.

kawhi. no question. he hath been superb in moments when he was the sole option. impressive as curry and kd have been they have been on super powered teams in the playoffs. i know what kd @okc and he wasn't as good as kawhi

im not trying to denegrate sc or kd, just giving kawhi the props he deserves

You think last years Nets were a super powered team? KD did one of the greatest carry jobs ever. Gotta respect that. Vs. LeBron he was the one who put the dagger into his face, and the next year into the face of the defender LeBron couldnt wait to switch with. Doesnt matter who else was on that team - it was as clutch as it gets.

If you had the choice right now to have one of the three on your team in the post season...for me it wouldl be KD, Kawhi, Steph

Its not about that for me. Steph is always in that "too cool for school" mode grinnin and chewing on his mouth piece. He just doesnt have that extra gear in him where he turns 100% business, Mamba mode. KD has it, Kawhi has no other gear.

I remember Steph throwing dumb showboating passes to noone when the finals were on the line. Thats just mentally weak for me. He still is one of the greatest, but unless he can turn that off i wont put my money on him for a crucial game.

In the playoffs:

Kawhi has a 5-year peak BPM of 8.92

Steph has a 5-year peak BPM of 7.83

KD has a 5-year peak BPM of 7.27

Edit*-Note this does not include the 21 playoffs, where KD's BPM would rise a little bit as it was a 10.0, however Kawhi's BPM would rise as well as he had a 10.7 BPM. Therefore, he would still fall short of Kawhi in this comparison.
