Is Embiid best suited as a second option? If yes, then you will have to trade him to a team that has a bonafide #1 option. Not sure if those teams have great rebuilding assets.

Not much. We don't need a back up C.

Sixers would jump at Giannis and Luka for sure and at the very least think twice about Jokic.

I can't tell you how quickly the Sixers accept any deal which lands them Giannis or Luka.
It's funny you guys think so, but no... We wouldn't. Why would a win now team trade for a worse player with worse fit just because Luka is younger? As for Giannis, they are on the same tier but once again Embiid's fit is preferable with our current roster. If the Bucks didn't land Holiday last year then Giannis would still be viewed as a playoff choke artist (not that I ever agreed with that take, just making a point). If the Sixers' win this year then suddenly Embiid will be viewed completely differently just like Giannis.

Ehm, no.
Giannis was a 2xMVP and a DPOY before Holiday and the ring.
He had also reached the conference finals.
Along with secondary honors like MIP or ASGmvp.
He won these with Eric Bledsoe, not Jrue Holiday.
Embiid's greatest accomplishment so far are some player of the months accolades.
And the highest he's been is the 2nd round.
What are you comparing here?
They are not on the same tier nor the same boat. They are the same age but giannis was significantly better and more accomplished even before his ring.
Now he's on KDs level.
There are levels. Embiid is not on that level.

I don't know how this could be your takeaway from tonight's game... He almost saved the day with the late 3 followed by the offensive rebound/put back on the next possession. If the refs didn't mistakenly call goal tend, we would have had the ball with more than enough time to get off a good look. Even if you just look at the box score he put up an efficient 29, 14 and 7 with a +3 on the court
Hell, he could have went 0/20 tonight with goose eggs in every stat category and this thread would still be wack
I love when fans cry about the "Refs." Think they only made ONE call all night?

He definitely has something to prove to get on the same tier as Giannis, that much is obvious. As of now it's hard to separate the group of Jokic Doncic and Embiid.

Philly pairs Lebron plus Harden and gives it a run?

If you're fed up with one of the favourites to win MVP this year then you'll be disappointed with practically every player in your life lol.

You Philly fans are delusional. Geez, he isn't worth that much. Only to 6'ers.

Giannis is simply a superior player. He's also less of an injury risk and arguably a better fit with Harden. He's also a proven winner. Also, likely ages better.
As for Luka. I'd argue what he's done with that Dallas roster is far superior to anything Embiid has achieved. Throw in the fact hes 5 years younger, too. Yeah it's a simple no brainer.
And I say this as a big Embiid fan. It's laughable to think Sixers wouldn't trade Embiid for either of them

Re: How much is Embiid worth in a trade?
Reactionary to a game that was winnable down to the wire. Where the game was under control until Embiid sat and a washed Millsap allowed a 17 point run by Giannis. I say under control because Harden and Embiid had good games and the team was controlling a 10 point lead right into the third quarter before he sat. But let’s blame a couple missed shots at the end and say the clutch gene isn’t there. The Sixers problem is a lack of a backup center and a true 3-D wing that can complement the team on both ends, that’s it. Fix it in the off-season. Bum Adebayo is just a troll for those who are wondering.

Re: How much is Embiid worth in a trade?
Hes been fairly healthy, but still has more reason to have injury concern than the other guys in his tier, so that slightly limits him, but I'd say he probably has more trade value than anyone in the league except Giannis, Joker, and Luka. I think injury concern is really the only thing that keeps him from being in the top tier.

One think Biid is worst than any of propositions, other that he is better than any of the propositions. So I think I just got it right

Another Celtic fan that thinks Biid is worth more or just as much as those packages.
He's probably worth more than teams are willing to give.
Like for the Celtics the 76ers would start with Tatum, and the Celtics probably would end the convo there just due to injury concerns. Not that Biid isn't worth it, but moreso the risk isn't worth that kind of call.
The Clips is an interesting one with Kawhi who never plays, but probably can't do that because of promises to him and to George. It would significantly damage their rep among players and the agents of players.
Derozan + Vuc + picks is a realistic package to give up, but if I'm the 76ers I don't see a point in that. That's a real package both teams would do though in a world where Embiid demands out which really is the only world he gets traded anyways.
Lakers AD + Westbrook at this point feels a little light. AD and Embiid are about equal value and Westbrook is negative. Lakers would have to throw in picks.

If Suns don't win it all, maybe a package around Ayton + Cam Johnson? Bridges, Book and Paul are off the table but with looming extensions ahead for DA and Cam, I would MAYBE be open to this. Big maybe since this Suns team is so good and disrupting chemistry doesn't seem needed at this time.

You are completely misunderstanding my post lol... Let me help you.
1. OP implied Embiid choked in last night's game
2. On the last possession of the game, Harden missed a 3pt shot, Embiid got the rebound and put a shot back up that was mistakenly called goaltending to tie the game
3. After refs reviewed the goal tend, they correctly reversed the call and took away the 2 pts... however, this meant that we had to jump ball at half court with 2 seconds left rather than having the ball in our possession close to the basket like we did in real time
I'm the last person to cry about the refs but I will absolutely state specific facts pertaining to the topic at hand. There were much worse calls earlier that I would have drawn attention to if I wanted to go that route. But yeah... you've always had a weird anti-Emibid POV since his beef with KAT so the unnecessary hostility is nothing new

It's laughable you think we would trade Embiid for Luka... Luka doesn't even have a positive on/off with this roster, nor does he have a positive on/off for his career. Meanwhile Embiid's on/off over his career is double digit positive (probably higher than anyone in the league?). From a RAPM standpoint, Luka has never sniffed Embiid. He's a much worse defender and much less efficient scorer. Yes Luka is a much better playmaker but it's not enough to make up for the rest.
