Right now the only one that's seems likely is Utah, who else? Seems like a small problem so far

The juicy series are looking to be

Memphis vs. Minnesota
Boston vs. Nets

Then the series that have potential are

Dallas vs. Utah - if Luka comes back and just goes on an absolute tear
Phoenix vs. NOP - only because Phoenix is the most watchable team in the league, they play beautiful ball

Otherwise Tor vs. Phi was a massive disappointment Game 1 and looks to be a free W for Philly because of how injured Toronto is now

Miami vs. Hawks is going to suck because of Capela being out, Cavs literally died for this. At least if Cleveland made it in it would've been fun to see the young guys. Hawks are last years news.

Denver vs. Golden State - literal waste of a series, Jokic has done enough
Milwaukee vs. Chicago - Giannis was +27 in 33 minutes

Second round should be fire

But I'm still hoping to see five games come back, which I know will never happen.

One result of the play-in is that the 8th team has likely already played 2 semi-playoff games while the 1st team has rested making that series even less likely to be competitive than was previously the case imo.

I'd argue Phoenix vs GSW might be one of the most anticipated matches ever. It's a damn dream series if everyone is healthy for serious basketball fans. Two teams who play complex offense AND defense, who have stars that play within the systems. It's a freaking dream!

Are you insane? I'm actually really looking forward to these playoffs. And OP clearly doesn't even know his recent history. The 2017 playoffs will forever be one of the most boring playoffs in history, if not the most boring, Cavs going 12-1 through a pathetic East, the Warriors going 16-1 overall, legitimately not a single memorable series in the entire playoffs.

The West playoffs suck so far but the East has TOR/PHI and Celtics and Nets, so far those are intense and full of star power

The West is severely missing either a LA team or a healthy Denver team, Murray/MPJ/Jokic would be a fun matchup for the GSW.

This thread reads as someone who is only interested in LA being in the playoffs. Wasn't chella enough for ya bra?

Western Playoffs sucks. Eastern will be extremely entertaining.

Its the NBA. No league has more casual, or hot-take/national media brainwashed fans. This is what Stern created and now Silver oversees: "star players with personality" and "big markets" and flashy games. It's the reason the NBA will never pass the NFL nationally nor will they ever pass MLB or NCAAF locally/regionally.
