Jimmy Butler to Udonis Haslem - "Shut up. You're just a **** cheerleader." That's my view on this matter.

Draymond is playing games. I'm pretty sure the Warriors would prefer to face the Heat. Draymond saying that just motivates the Heat to play harder against the Celtics.

This "broke the code" business is silly, but let's give Haslem his due as a player.

He's got three rings, and on the championship teams he played on, he started 52 out 66 playoff games. Are there lots of role players the Heat could have hypothetically won with instead? Sure. But the fact is, he was good enough to be a starter on three championship teams, and is still considered worthy of an NBA roster spot by Pat Riley and Erik Spoelstra on the verge of his 42nd birthday.
Just because it happened to you, doesn't make it interesting.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Yesterday I was lying; today I'm telling the truth.

I like what Haslem represents to the Heat, but I always had the notion that he doesn't know what the eff he is talking about, at least half the time.

This player code must be long and hard to remember if it keeps being broken. Is it written like a user agreement?

Draymond gave bulletin board material by publicly discrediting a potential future opponent. He doesn't care, but Miami will use it to their best abilities.

No it wasn't. He didn't say anything negative about Miami. He simply predicted Boston would advance.

There's some weird posts in here and the above strike me as extremely naive takes. I'm not going to sit here and argue that what Draymond said was incredibly egregious or inflammatory, but he clearly was taking a dig at the Heat with the way he answered without hesitation (and laughing) that the Celtics were going to win. That's not analysis.

Also, I'm not sure why people are trying to **** on Haslem. Of course, any competitor is going to use something like this as added motivation.

You're reaching. Nothing he said was a dig at the heat.

He's as shook as Haslem

I think Haslem is very dramatic. He even mentions how he didn't sleep because of the comments.

He didn't sleep because he has 600k followers on Instagram and he can put the phone down.

Shout out Jimmy G. Buckets.

I highly doubt Draymond is worried about UD. No matter who wins on Sunday, Draymond isn't going to be on the court with Haslem in the Finals.

Lol Draymond was asked the question and replied saying that Boston will win (not in any disrespectful way to Miami). I really don't know what's the big deal. I don't want to speculate on who Draymond wanna face in the final, but he sure as hell wants them to go to a game 7. So if what he says actually motivated Miami to win game 6 (I doubt it tbh), then mission accomplished.

What’s with this hilarious myth that Haslem is some kind of tough guy enforcer?

He’s nothing but a coward who sits on a bench and yaps.

Lmao... As opposed to KG, Smart etc etc...
Save it.

Everyone in the NBA knows Haslem is the real deal when it comes to bringing it. Sure, he's a bum as a productive player now, but he's done his job and he serves a different role.
"And a Man?... A Man provides... And he does it even when he's not appreciated, or respected, or even loved. He simply bears up and he does it.... Because he's a Man...."

Haslem is still in Miami because he represents the embodiment of the culture they try to foster. Undrafted dude that played in Europe before eventually becoming a key role player on a championship squad. He’s a grinder, not a tough guy. Unfortunately he’s also become somewhat of a mascot in recent years. Like Snoop Dogg’s uncle that used to just follow him around everywhere.

He said who he thought was better and picked a winner of the series. How is that trash talk?

Especially since he was LITERALLY ASKED TO MAKE A PICK.

Lmaoo just because Draymond is ratchet on the basketball court, people automatically assumes that he’s ghetto off the court when he speaks.

Draymond’s one of the more professional players when it comes to talking basketball, yet he gets asked to make a pick and people act like he turned into Patrick Beverly.

And Draymond couldn’t care less about who he faces in the Finals. The man had to go against LeBron 100 times and is in his hundredth Finals and people think he’s worried about the Celtics and Heat?

Actually they asked him who he'd prefer to play, and he offered a prediction instead, just to clarify.
"I'd rather have Kevin Love spacing out to the three point line than anything (Karl) Malone brings"
